I watched this show every Saturday on NBC when I was a kid from 1960 to 63. Loved Shari. So long ago I didn't remember that she did all these commercials and talked all these things for the show. Well that was the way things were in the early 60s different.
I LOVED that show! Absolutely nothing like this or other older shows like this anymore. days gone by. I bought my daughter a book with Lambchop in it for my daughter. Shari Lewis was so talented and gave good CLEAN wonderful fun for children.
Pretty much no full episodes of this series exist, because NBC took the tapes and wiped them in 1964. Those tapes were then used for coverage of that year's Democratic and Republican National Conventions. Shari Lewis was wiped in favor of a more-civilized age of politics.
You don't see little girls use a spinning wheel on TV or in real anymore it's "sexist misogyny " that's girls are only allowed to play with boy's toys and are made to be ashamed to wanna do girly things that's sad.😢 there's nothing wrong with girls wanting to play with Tonka Trucks, but little girls should play with spinning wheels of they want we need more commercials like little girls playing spinning wheels.
Shari Lewis was the sweetest TV performer ever. Thank you Shari.

did they really! That should've been a crime. I can not believe they would've done that as they had plenty of money for more tapes.
@crazyaces4042 Shari Lewis would eventually return as part of NBC's 60th Anniversary Special in 1986.
