Knitting tutorial: Brioche stitch decreases

  • How to work both left and right leaning decreases in brioche stitch. There doesn't seem to be any general consensus when it comes to brioche abbreviations; I have seen these referred to as bsk2p & bk3tog, brLsl dec & brRsl dec, and many other variations. From 2021 I am always referring to Ldec (left leaning decrease) and Rdec (right leaning decrease) in my patterns.

    omg thank you!! this was the best video for the decreases I was looking for because it was to the point, easy to understand and it was super clear video quality. I also appreciate that you did a couple more rows beyond to show what it was going to look like, my main question was how it would affect the shaping. Thanks again!!
