I dealt with ascites for over 3 years! Towards the end I was getting drained 10 liters every week. I received a heart and liver transplant and I no longer suffer from this horrible disease! I am forever grateful to the donor and their family to give me a second chance to live! I want to let others know there is hope! I pray everyone going through this that they may be cured! Much love to all!

I have non alcoholic cirrhosis and some fluid in my stomach called trace Ascites. I have 2000 Chevy Van I want to sell and try to raise money when my liver gets bad enough. Pretty sure I will not get 300,000.00 but at least it will be start. I was thinking if Barret Jackson would sponsor my Van for nonalcoholic Cirrhosis. Maybe they could sponsor me x amount of dollars to drive my Van to their location. I can prove I have nonalcoholic cirrhosis by showing my disease on my Hospital App.

I went to the ER for fluid buildup, my hemoglobin was at a 7, waited 10 hours for the ER Dr. To look at me like a loser and call my general practitioner Dr. (Who sent me to the ER for the low blood count) incompetent and since I had been diagnosed with with cirrhosis 8 months earlier, that everything was " normal" for me. He wouldn't even call my G.I. Dr. Three weeks later, my belly button is protruding, my stomach is engorged, I can't stand longer than ten minutes without hurting my swollen legs, I'm exhausted, hurt everywhere, trouble breathing, and sleeping. I have never been told what stage I'm in. I go Tuesday to my G.I. and I will demand answers. I've dealt with liver problems since I was 16, I'm 37 now. I want real answers. I'm sorry you are going through this too and for anyone else going through it

I have 42 years sobriety. We saved my liver once. It was going hard...cramps and I was 19 and just gotten into AA the er Dr told me to keep sober and. Hang on for dear life. I did a lot of damage as did a bad pediatrician and my liver couldn't take it no more I am not smoker for about 7 to 8 month now. I regret going back to smoke for 20 years. My Dr argument that smoking 🚬 doesn't cause other Cancer and my throat sore. Now. Because my kids insist I take seizure meds on days of surgery. I had to stop for few months and couldn't eat solid food and lost ability to take Care of myself/. I use baby ear syringe to suck mucus out of the back of my throat post nasal drip that had. I just found this video of yours and I am very sad that someone else is also experiencing such scary thing just like me. I had been dealing with massive ascites for about 3 years now ,tried paracentesis twice and hopefully by GOD's grace will be having my 3rd session this May after my 2nd session about a year and a half ago. I am still scared about how my diagnosis will be if ever I will be hospitalized this time but I'm ready. I hope all of us who is suffering from this condition may have wisdom ,strength ,hopes and faith that one day we will be better and we can go back to our normal life again. GODBLESS US ALL ❤

I know this is an old video and chances are your aware of this, but for others reading, one of the things you can do to help with this is reduce your Salt intake, start by not adding it to foods, then perhaps give up some foods that are extremely high in Sodium Chloride/Salt, here's a list of 3 typical foods worth eating less of or giving up to ease your suffering:
You ideally don't want more than 5 grams of Salt a day.
    Pizza 14" = 6 grams
    Bacon x 2 Rahers = 3 grams
Soup x 1 400g Tin =2 grams (Depending on the Soup)
Read your labels it's well worth while, a lot of foods you think are good for you may well not be.

For over 4 years now I have been fighting end stage liver with esophageal varices and diabetes with advanced neuropathy in the legs. I had so much pressure my nose turned bright red. 2 years and 8 months I spent in bed. Multiple drains and multiple varice procedures. Then in desperation I found and Indian (India) doctor online who prescribes organic treatments using chillies. I was instructed to stew for one hour on med heat, Thai Red, Scotch bonnet and jalapeno peppers. Eat in large doses with assorted raw fruits and vegetables 4 times a day. Two weeks later the ascites was gone. I am still in shock, my doctor was shocked. The treatment worked so well that i have not seen my liver doctor in 6 months. I do not know why or how it worked but it is still working for me to this day.

@@michaelmagill5466 It is in the comments. Stew chillies. and eat a lot of them 4 times a day. Something about the chemicals in chillies and peppers that make heat increases blood flow. Think of it like sweating. You eat hot food you sweat. The blocked blood pathways are somehow opened by these chemicals. At least that was the panel of doctors opinion. It was that simple for me. It was hard at the start because i hated spice. Now I will not eat without it lol.

22 liters in one week, for me. A TIPS was done, and it stayed manageable for a year, but came back. The TIPS must be adjusted from time to time. In my present condition, somehing has gone wrong. My ascites has permeated all the skin around my abdomen and thighs. My scrotum Is the size of a cantalope. And the VA just drags their feet with everything. It's extremely uncomfortable. 9 was the most they took outta me, but it got to the point of 2xs a wk and I was averaging 12 liters, so about 6 liters each time. I actually had to have hernia repair surgery because the fluid pushed right through my navel and it burst(I wanted it fixed anyway it looked like the head of a certain male part... use ur imagination). So they had no choice. My Dr hates loop diuretics but LASIX IS A MIRACLE DRUG let me tell ya. I have top notch care now and 9 months Para free! Prayers to everyone! Wouldn't wish it on ANYONE EVER. if u are able, fermented foods like saurkraut and fruit (melons and citrus) help naturally lower ammonia levels in the blood. Still gotta take the meds (who else hates lactulose?? Can I get an AMEN?) BUT helps to keep u healthy and to avoid encephalopathy.
I got a counter top ninja and if u blend watermelon and fresh lemon together it makes for healthy pink lemonade. No sugar or water. It comes from the melon. Also, diabetic and RA(rheumatoid arthritis) friendly also. And fiber.... ahem. Try it guys!

My Malignant melanoma tumors (33) decided liver would be a good place to land. Acuities began three months after my first immunology. Go in every two weeks now (5th) soon. 10 liters first time 8 or more last few times. Thrombus in artery feeding liver is what looks like causing my problem. Some shrinkage in tumors, but clot not breaking up. Looking at alternatives now.

Do you have a portal thrombosis? If yes, with or without cirrhosis? Wishing you good luck.
