Odd as it may be, that's pretty much my dream bike. I've always wanted to build a custom Flat Tracker that's just a beast all around. That's an iconic bike from my childhood and one of the coolest Harleys, in my opinion, ever
It could be nice to talk about maintenance cost on motorcycles. Sometimes, some luxury motorcycles have a bad reputation for recalls but this is on warranty. Also some bikes are easier to fix with a low cost parts or they never break on a long road trip.
I just picked up a 89 Honda goldwing with 45,000 miles one owner original with all the buying contract back in 89 matching color trailer that came with the deal the fuel pump is out going to replace it love all your videos about goldwings do more videos if you get some more goldwings especially the old ones love your channel
Shawn I believe the 86 Sportsters were the 1100 motor and boy o boy could it pull hard! It was the first year of the the evolution sport motor. I had short shot pipes and an e shorty carb. The sound that bike made was music. I always had lots of compliments on that bike but eventually I sold to the next curator!
This was possibly built in 2014 by a company called J&B Motor Co. right near you guys in Wrightsville Pa! They were big in the retro cafe bike movement back in the day. From the lack of activity on their Facebook page, I’d say they are no longer in business.
One gorgeous bike and sounds good af; looking for a sportster, cafe racer, scrambler or something similar and the vintage bikes are catching my eye - thanks for the dope review as always! 🔥
I owned a 1988 883 and it did not leak. Hell, before that, I owned a 1968 XLCH and after replacing a couple of oil lines and the primary chain gasket, it did not leak. Unless you count a little out the breather on start if the bike sat more than a week or so.
Get an old XLCH 1000cc Ironhead you'll be amazed. My 74 XLCH is still my favorite of the 37 bikes I've owned with possibly my Norton Commando coming in a close second
dear bikes and beards Saun and all SRK cycles! First of all i would love to express how much I love your videos the content and effort you guys put in this channel, I have been watching your videos since I started riding and that was well over 3 years now, always looked up to the reviews and advices you gave, unfortunately the other day I had a motorcycle accident and broke my leg, am recovering physically now but I still have big fear on getting back, fear of crashing again, as this was my first accident. As i mentioned I really always looked up to your advices and videos and would like to ask if you can make a video of advices and thoughts on how to get back from an accident and get over that fear! Thank you for your time and I hope you will accept my request because from you it will definitely help!
If you haven't already Sanad, take a motorcycle safety course. Not because the accident was or was Not your fault, but to help regain confidence and rebuild your courage. If given properly, you can always learn more taking good courses. If you feel the WANT, sign up to a MC racing program, even if just to learn. Cheers.
Awesome bike! I’ve always like the Sporsters, but all the Harley guys seem to consider them girl’s bikes. Back in our mid 20s (1986 or 7) a good buddy of mine bought one for $5K. It was a 1200, in great shape, low miles, killer custom paint. He used to let me ride it around the the neighborhood. Sounded and handled awesome. He eventually sold it (for a profit) and bought an Ultra Classic. Also a killer bike, but I’ve never cared much for all the junk bolted on (fairing, bags, etc.).
To each their own. I've heard the same thing about softails. "Softail frames aren't big enough for a man," "you can't go any long distances on a softail," "you can't comfortably ride 2-up on a softail." I have no problem with a sporty, I almost went with one, but it just didn't fit me as well as my softail, and the sporty didn't have the extra that I wanted. I'd ride with one any day of the week. Same goes for metrics.
@5:412 !!! Sean ...... You went right !!! Ha Ha, Thanks for that after my last comment in the last vid . I get to see some more of Landisville ... Thanks
I actually planned on buying that but I bought a 2004 Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200R with low miles and basically brand new for $4,000 in cash from haldeman auto in Lebanon PA. I was 16 and now 17 and thrown on 6,000 miles since
Basically a stock Sportster with a 19 inch front wheel on the rear, a 2 into 1 exhaust & some fiberglass. FYI an 86 is a 4 speed & Shorty doesn't make carburetors 😂
Man I'm really on the fence to inquire on this one, even has my initials embossed on the bike. Would look nice having an orange Trackster next to my orange Crosstrek.
A few minor problems for me, I'd have to see it in person and wouldn't be able to get out there from NJ any time soon. I also already have a project bike that is already months behind schedule. When I get my bike done I do plan to do a trip to SRK cycles. My current project is an inline 4 79', I want to add a chopper and single cylinder offroader to what will become my collection. I like SRK cycles and would like to bring my business there for my next purchases. I'll continue to like comment and subscribe in the meantime.
Saw this bike on the website Friday night and recommended it to my dad. Noticed there were mo videos at the time but I'm assuming you got it pretty recently.
Looks like a roadster reimagined. The bottom end could've been for anything from an early 883 but that top could've been a 1200. From what I was told at the dealer at the time 85 was the last year of the 1100 engine from then on top engine was a 1200.
That does seem more like an 883 than 1200 I wouldn't have a 1200 kit, my brother had one put on by Harley, nothing but problems from that point on..... can't keep a stator 5 yrs ago another brother decided to get it back on the road, I suggested taking it back to 883 but noooooooo, after new jugs and pistons, yet another stator and regulator, can't keep a charge......and now it's sitting again Of course everybody that knows....... don't know why but they know it's not because of the 1200 kit.......even though the problems started right after 1200 kit I think the compensator is not strong enough for 1200 and breaking stator first time you give it gas I've had 2 883's and I wouldn't do anything to that motor, it really doesn't need more power to go hit the curves
Changing from 883 to 1200 does not effect the stator. The compensating sprocket does not touch the stator. They should have bought a cycle electric 3 phase stator.
Sean, I purchased a grom clone for my first bike. I then 190 swapped it. I’d love to own something like that bike. How much is it? I don’t have any cash left now but I can surely sell my bike lol. I love orange and that being metallic orange even better. If I could afford that I’d buy it right now.
I had a 1970 HD Rapido as my first bike, and one of my most undependable rides (blew sealed beam headlight bulbs, and the points were prone to condensation grounding). Rebuilt it into a dual purpose bike.
I have to say ive been going through a rough patch in my life here lately life been with out God as a priority for sure but he has reached out to me through your word of the day in your videos. You might have honestly saved my life bless you guys, bless your business, and everything you love.

I ride a 1975 Kawasaki Z1 900, oh, and it is bright yellow with flames! I pull a miniature bright yellow truck bed trailer, I'm a 300-plus pound guy, I usually have a ten-year-old son on the back oh, and a dog barking in the trailer! And people still can't see my motorcycle, and pull out in front of me.... Being bright orange and the color of the sun is not going to help! Trust me!
A Harley not dripping oil? Did you check to see if it there was actually oil in the engine? Speedo might just be a loose cable. I saw it move a little when you were getting on the throttle. Cool bike. Ialways appreciate when someone does something different with their build.
Im a huge harley fan and im the same age as that bike. My dad has 2 a 1978 and 1998 shovel and fatboy. But im looking to get into a something like this bike soon!

That is literally the first and only Harley i could fall in love with.what a great bike, sounds awesome.
Some people have no sense of style i guess. Lmfao
Bike was at a dealer in Dillsburg (Haldeman Auto), Pa for the last three or four years, and they couldn't sell it. Good luck man.
