The beauty of sandbox like games is that everybody gets to play their own way and style. Some people use blueprints, some people build compact and complex, some build more spread out... I'm glad you're sticking to how you like to play and it's refreshing to see a different style.
@LindaJuffermans Thanks, it's too easy to follow the crowd and just do what everyone else does. At that point you've stopped innovating and are just copying, what's the fun in that? Plus the map is huge, why try and squeeze everything into a tiny footprint, I like to spread out 😁
@danp2779 Hi, habit if I am honest. I know you can use pickers to pass science packs from lab to lab but I got into the habit of making several loops around the labs with different coloured packs on each way back when the game was in Early Access.
@@danp2779 I've seen that and a pyramid style where you have on lab feeding into 2, those 2 feed in 3, 3into 4 etc. I just like to see at glance which colour packs I am short of. But there is no right or wrong way to do it.
@@dragonflygameruk4094 Definitely -- I kind of hate those belt-woven designs, since you can't really see how much you have when you're near the labs ... I think this playthru I'm going to have a go at reading the belts with the sensor wires and using some color-lights to show how far back the packs are stacked up on the belt, similar to battery LEDs or such...

100% agree
I don't think you mentioned it (or I'm deaf) -- why'd you build the science pack belt in a loop around the labs? more belt storage space?

@dragonflygameruk4094 More I've not seen the storage-loop -- I usually run like 8 or 9 labs long and dead-end the pack belt(s)
