I don't think that this version is bad, just a best song from questionable remake. While original is active and energetic villiain song this version have a march-like vibe, which gives for me feeling that Scar is up for something serious. If this version was more longer, had more slim transation to epic part and also versed from original song, then it would be a full rival.
There is nothing bad with the 2019 be prepared ,ok fine I prefer the original from lion king 1994 but it was how they composed the song and Chewetle Ejiofor did a good job

To be completely honest- Chiwetel Ejiofor will do a great job at this goal and a much better job of doing the voice of Scar in this new Disney live-action film because he will act professionally as the voice of Simba's wicked uncle while Jeremy Irons acted unprofessionally as the voice of that scraggly lion in the 1994 Disney Animated Classic film.
This version of Be Prepared sounds like a Reprise of the original one.
