- Iran released a video of its drones and speedboats swarming an American warship. The tense encounter between the two sides took place in the Strait of Hormuz. The video shows USS Batan passing through the Strait accompanied by choppers. The IRGC then issued a warning to the American Warship to exit Iranian waters. Watch the video for more.

In late July, part of the ARG/MEU got redeployment orders to the U.S. Central Command, and, this week, joins other warships operating in the region as part of the U.S. response to Iran’s continuing threats and attempted seizures of commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Those include the July 5 attempted seizure of an oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman before the destroyer USS McFaul (DDG-74) arrived on the scene.
Iran’s recent maritime actions against merchant ships and, at times, military vessels in the region have continued despite a beefed-up presence of military assets since the spring and the 2019 establishment of the Coalition Task Force Sentinel. That operational arm of the International Maritime Security Construct formed in response to Iran’s threats to freedom of navigation and the free flow of trade in international waters. Members of the 11-nation coalition join in routine patrols and in Sentinel Shield interoperability exercises in the region.

The greatest threat then were the Silkworm missiles the Iranians had along the Strait of Hormuz. Never realised Iranian English accent and vocal tone is so similar to Indians..linguistically of course Iranian language is closest to Indian languages, but the vocal nuances to be that similar is surprising.

@@testaments9733 my love, do you know how different other languages are compared to Farsi with Hindi? Have you heard Vietnamese? Chinese? Arabic? English, obviously yes, or the many African languages?
Farsi and Hindi are closely related. We share a lot of current vocabulary, and our ancestors are the same people not that long ago.
Basically, if there was a camera that was recording the earth and we played the video backward from now you would see that for about 10,000 years Iranians are in Iran and Indians are in India. And as we continue back in time at about 20,000 years ago you would start to see a constant flow of people from what we today call Iran into what we today call India. At about 30,000 years ago even more people were migrating eastward, but I don't mean that in the total number of people, because there were many more people 20,000 years ago than 30,000 years ago, I'm speaking in terms of percent. And as we continue back, you will see fewer and fewer people in what we today call India to the point where India doesn't have any people in it, and the population of people in what we today call Iran would be very sparse. And if you continue playing back, Iran won't have any people in it either. Iranians and Indians are genetically very close, share the same root language, and much of the same culture.
