I 100% agree with using workaway as a means of travel. I’ve had the most amazing experiences using workaway, mostly working in hostels all over the globe. Workaway has allowed to travel to Norway, Turkey, Israel, and Morocco so far and I plan on doing it again! I always recommend it to people looking to travel on a budget. Another benefit of using workaway is long term travel and befriending the locals. It changes your whole experience :)

Nice when you are an American, but when you are from an overregulated country you have to pay shit like social insurance, health insurance, taxes on all your property. It's like 400$ a month, might not sound as much but average salary here is like 1000$. So if you wanna travel you have to save up a lot of money JUST to not go to jail, plus there are of course plane tickets, food etc. Or you can work abroad, which isn't much travelling since you are just working and can't go anywhere.
Now tell us EXACTLY how you get the gigs to get the cash to travel full time EXACTLY how did you get your online jobs ? All you've said is a lot of generic chatter. EXACTLY WHAT DO YOU DO ????
@@robertleger4986 OK Robert, here is a way to travel and earn money! ESL. I would suggest you sign up with Angloville English Immersion Program. You can earn 1/2 of your ESL Certification through them. The other half you do online. Then, you can teach ESL on line with Angloville for about $10.00/hr + other online sites. See my blog Travels With the Red Suitcase, go to English Immersion Programs.
This is the best birthday present I never could have imagined asking for this year. I am starting this journey in less than two weeks and I am as prepared as I can possibly be, but of course, never enough. Thank you so much! This is my dream too for 2018, at least the summer.
Shayla! Great video, I just watched your TED Talk too, love your motivation and travel mindset - especially when it comes to accepting other ways of living all over the world. I sent you an email for a film we're shooting here in Spain, and I came across your resume on a Minneapolis Talent Agency site (I'm also from MN). Would love to chat over a coffee and tell you more. Thanks Shayla! - Ross Pirsig
I needed this video right now thank you so much!!!! I have been hesitant thinking i need to save more because i dont know exactly what i will do but you made me see that i can do it I can move and be fearless!!! Thank you so much! Also can you tell me more about how you would network and meet people?
Find presentations, events, festivals, talks around the things you’re interested in. If you love fashion find events near you you can go to, go interview a professor. Just reach out to anyone in the industry and ask them out to coffee (pay for it) or email them with VERY CLEAR and direct questions. I get “how can I travel” a lot. Those are hard to answer and hard to get back to. “I’m interested in yoga/ finance/ nursing is there any way I could travel with this in South America ” is so much easier to answer and connect people. If I have a good answer!
Hi, I am a full time traveller since one year and I've been living on savings so far. Now I'm looking for jobs, but whatever job I think about there's always one issue that I have no idea how to solve: if I want to work legally, how do I do this in all different countries and for any different kind of job? Are travellers doing this always under the table?
It depends on the job, you can work online. If you work in a place a lot of times it's in exchange for accommodation or food and depending on what it is you might just get paid a little cash fro it
I recently committed for every Wednesday video and I always dropped interests. When it comes to expenses I think I eat too much crap haha. It's sad really when you realize you just ate a flight ticket :( All good advice thank you x

You missed noting that you are able to return to what I assume is your parents home as a base in the US? That’s a pretty big factor in supporting what you do.
This is 100% true. But I’m gone so frequently that they enjoy having me home when I am home.
I love your videos! So so much! Thank you for sharing your experiences :)

I got a job...applied to travel 48weeks a year setting up for an event. applied online. :)
Amazing!!!
I am starting my 20 months travel plan next year Apr. I think a video that helps create a list of passive income sources while travelling will surely help...
Not a lot of passive income stuff. But I do have videos like “how to travel full time, actually”
I always wondered how full-time travelers made it work! Haha I can only imagine the long list of jobs you've done in the past!
Seriously!! I have a video of some of the jobs I've had!
ua-cam.com/video/0e83e81AmpA/v-deo.html
People always ask me too, but it only costs me $1300/month, so what are they worried about.
Very inspiring video. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you liked it!!!
Definitely didn’t see it coming that you would mention PR 🇵🇷🤣 How did you like being in our little island?
Loooooved it!!!

anything is possible with God meet him halfway this is his world enjoy it
I would love to travel the world with someone like you 👋😍 keep going
Nice when you are an American, but when you are from an overregulated country you have to pay shit like social insurance, health insurance, taxes on all your property. It's like 400$ a month, might not sound as much but average salary here is like 1000$. So if you wanna travel you have to save up a lot of money JUST to not go to jail, plus there are of course plane tickets, food etc. Or you can work abroad, which isn't much travelling since you are just working and can't go anywhere.
As always awesome video working on all these things now .. hoping to travel for 6 months to a year by September
Amazing!!
Okay, girl. If you ever come to Scandinavia, let me know!
Love your videos so much 🙌
Yaaaaas!! How cool!
Keep up the good work!!!
Now tell us EXACTLY how you get the gigs to get the cash to travel full time
EXACTLY how did you get your online jobs ?
All you've said is a lot of generic chatter.
EXACTLY WHAT DO YOU DO ????
She doesn't really say anything....just a lot of nutty stuff...like a pep talk.....Pep talk doesn't pay for air tickets or rent and food.....
Not sure if we are hearing the same thing but she said EXACTLY how to do it and where to go to do it. Relisten! 😊💛
You should post a video about how you got your online job!
It was a bit random, a friend had it, knew what I was doing and was going back to school and referred me!
This is the best birthday present I never could have imagined asking for this year. I am starting this journey in less than two weeks and I am as prepared as I can possibly be, but of course, never enough. Thank you so much! This is my dream too for 2018, at least the summer.
🙌🙌🙌💪good luck!
Thank you ×2
Love to travel
i still dont understand where do you get money for your travel ......................please tell me.
Limitless Nikhil ikr
UA-cam, social media, basically working where you can online
@Never lose sleep over the small stuff You have awesome parents
If I have a good answer!
sounds good woofing and work away . line up side jobs from there . lol.
You nailed it!
IM GOING TO TRAVEL the world
when I'm older cuz of you
thank you so much :)
Great job!
If you work in a place a lot of times it's in exchange for accommodation or food and depending on what it is you might just get paid a little cash fro it
Big fan from India
I recently committed for every Wednesday video and I always dropped interests. When it comes to expenses I think I eat too much crap haha. It's sad really when you realize you just ate a flight ticket :( All good advice thank you x
Awesome!!
Can you tell me more about au pairing in Spain?? I am hoping to do that this fall but struggling with my plan
Totally I used greataupair.com and it was wonderful!
i love your bracelets 😆
“Traveling full time” who came up with that?
I dont know! haha
wow! 200 usd a month expense! you're my new favorite digital nomad!
Haha thanks!
Brilliant! Any advice if you have college debt and such? I suppose hopefully the money coming in covers it!
Figure out what other expenses you can minimize!
Wow tats so inspiring.. I love u Ma'am
