Amending Soil; What to add to improve your soil for next season

The soil plays a big role in every garden.
It is best to introduce a lot of organic matter to help improve our soil. Add vegetable scraps, dried leaves, grass cuttings, mulch and a lot more. These break down into fine properties that improve the quality of our soil.
The best time to do that is fall time.
Add compost into the soil over the winter months and allow the microbes to act on them before the next planting season.
