Best time to harvest Tomatoes
Переглядів 108Місяць тому
Welcome back to Titisgarden. Sharing my tomatoes harvest. I usually harvest my tomatoes green, and this is why! Tomatoes tend to continue to ripen indoors once harvested. But ensure they are matured and about to start changing colors. So, if you want to turn your green tomatoes red as quickly as possible, follow these steps: - Harvest, wash, and dry the tomatoes/peppers. - Wrap tomatoes in pape...

Waoh 😮
How long does it taken in the box thanks for the help
Thanks for your video. Some seeds were sent to me but got rotten before it got to me about 1 week or close to 2weeks. It was packed in a nylon right after removing from pod. Now I know why? Do you have seed for sale ? What you have are healthy seeds. Thanks.
The reason why the red pepper is higher in nutriants because that is when God designed it to be picked. It's obvious when you observe the majority of fruits that have a transition colour to red, you always pick it at that point. Ie , blackberries, currents, tomatoes, cherries, why should man dictate the pepper to be any different? especially when it is in the nighshade family and can cause gastric upset in many people, un ripe nighshades and your asking for gut trouble.
My great grandmother picked them like this when they were changing. She's had much more experience than you do that's for sure.
@@ktownc936 I go by what I believe Gods creation tells us as iv'e already stated not tradition of men, green chillis are bitter for a reason. There not ready yet!
@@guitarnotator that's why you let them rippen. They do rippen you know. 🤣. You are silly if you think you must pick them when red.
@@ktownc936 Ok as you well know summer is now over and I picked lots of blackberries, did I ever pick them in a half ripe stage? the obvious answer is No. I know chillies are of a different family, but even so, nature is quite obviously trying to tell us something what colour, and time a fruit should be picked at. Just because something has been told by previous generations, doesn't mean it is always the best practice. We have lost so much wisdom and knowledge from our distant ancestors that is why we live in an epidemic of disease and sickness. One example with chillies and peppers they should be peeled and de seeded to reduce lectin content, same goes for tomatoes. Our ancient ancestors practiced this and some italians still do it, but generally it is forgotten knowledge. The reason we became a custom to picking fruit under ripe is because of want and demand. That is why most supemarket fruit is now forced ripened with Ethylene oxide, but if you want to pick and eat your chillies half ripe then it doesn't bother me, but just a heads up Dr Gundry has many patients who developed many issues by not consuming there nightshades correctly. I am a victim of this, developing severe gut isues because of those unprepared and green chillies and why I even commented on this channel, but good luck to you hope you get away with it scott free!
Because I live in a climate where I have a short growing season. So either I can’t grow peppers or I have to pick them before frost.
Please where can I purchase this kind of grow bags you are using
Thank you so much...i needed this info
God bless the works of your hand love...our clients shall experience bountiful harvest 🙏

How long did it take you from planting to harvest using the grow light? Secondly, can I have your contact? Thanks.
What you got is a yam seed ma, you should use it to grow a bigger yam next season. Kindly try watching nature's heritage channel he has lots of videos of growing yam from yam seed like this small harvest you got. That harvest is gold because it would produce bigger yam once planted again
I learnt something new today. You’re so passionate about your garden 🪴. And always willing to teach others. God bless you👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

So how do we buy from you ?
@titisgarden9434 how many days does it take to ripen?
It depends on what stage you pick them. if they are turning colors already, within one week but if picked green, it might take longer. I hope this helps.
Was just about to get in touch with you😂
Hello dear, thank you for watching. Were you able to get in touch
I am planning on growing Naija vegetables, not sure when to begin to plant them… also please where did you get those trays you used in planting
You can direct sow nigerian vegetables in May or June. The trays are available in Walmart or Canadaian tire.
@@titisgarden9434 thanks a lot for the reply
Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!!
Thank you
Hi, your garden is luscious. I am planting my seeds this morning....it's harmattan in Nigeria. I hope they'll do well. Well done!
I hope your seeds have germinated. Sometimes, the seeds don't like too much heat to germinate. Just room temperature is fine.
@@titisgarden9434 hi ,my plants are just coming up. I don't think they are getting enough sunlight 😕
