it's always so much more interesting to watch women reacting to this because they (sadly) immediately get what's happening while men reacting do this often don't
Okay. This is probably the best video reaction of The Man. I love that she pauses to talk about the issues that Taylor Swift wanted to tackle in her video. Great job!! ❤️👍👍👍
I think the tennis part was referencing John McEnroe and other male tennis players that throw tantrums and break their rackets and the media call them passionate, but Serena raises her voice once and is practically crucified. 😤
I really enjoyed your thoughts about taylors video and lyrics. that's why we still need feminism in 2020. the world will be a better place when we have equal rights and opportunities for everyone regardless of gender, race, income and age.
I hope you can wrap your mind about more than one thing at a time because then you might start to realize how your comment does not correlate properly to the current situation but yeah sure totally
@@Whywhy42042 tell that to my female coworkers who do physically more intensive work ( i tried it myself and i've seen how how even if occasionally some guy gets put in there, they won't be in the same position for long) but get paid less. Or tell that to some of my male coworkers who occasionally during the "guy talks" on a break feel confident enough to, in addition to the various levels of "normal" locker room talk, almost sing to each how awesome it would be to literally rape whichever of the woman colleagues is the topic of current "discussion". Those will likely agree with you.
My exact reaction when I found out the man was Taylor. That’s why I love behind the scenes stuff. But you are speaking exactly what I feel as a women sometimes. It’s amazing how women have to work for what they deserve and yet some men are just handed things because they are men. Take for example the movies Joker and birds of prey, joker gets praised for being amazing while birds of prey gets criticized for being a film about feminism and misogyny when joker is basically the same premise, only in joker it’s society that is treating him badly... like what makes those two movies different from each other other then the fact that one movie is about a girl and the other is about a man? Like I really don’t get society ( also I like both those films, not trying to but down either one)
Yeah I mean it definitely doesn’t have anything to do with Birds Of Prey being a very obscure comic book team (that Harley Quinn is not even a part of in the comics) and The Joker name being as recognizable as Spider-Man. No definitely not that it’s just “we hate women led films because vagina”. Makes sense I guess. But then again Wonder Woman and Capt. Marvel did very well... huh strange world we live in indeed.
It might have something with Birds of Prey being a mish mash as reflected in the ratings and box office and Joker being an amazing surprise, not a run of the mill superhero movie. If you want to compare Joker compare it to Wonder Woman, which was a good movie, again as reflected in ratings and box office. If you don't have this "it always better for men" agenda and look at say superhero movies objectively you find Catwoman, Supergirl, Fantastic Four 2015 and Batman and Robin all together on the bottom of the ratings.
I have heard this before. Some online group of men calling themselves MGTOW also claim culture is against men in family courts and the like. The culture wars on gender, race and class will kill America. When a society can't agree on fundamental roles btwn the sexes and when it can't melt people's hearts as one despite their anatomical or physical differences is an inevitable failing civilization if not failed.
She's been in this business since she was 15 or 16 (I think she was 16 when she released her first album) and throughout her whole career, she's been the one to come up with the concepts for her videos and concerts, and she plays instruments and writes her own songs. And yet people always questioned whether she really did all that. People said if there was a co-writer in the room then obviously they must have written that song, even though she's been playing and writing songs since she was 12 or so. She's mentioned before that she had to keep quiet for a long time about how much of her business she's the mastermind of because no one wants to hear that from a woman, much less a teenage girl. Even co-writers have said that when she comes in with a song, it's half done already, maybe more. But the media especially liked crucifying her - for dating, for a lot of things. She was basically shamed for normal dating (and writing songs about it) when men do it, no problem. The guy in the video gets a hall of fame and high fives for sleeping with a girl. And while she writes her own songs, plays instruments, co-produces her albums, comes up with concepts for her videos and writes the treatments, and now directs.... people still say she's overrated when, however you may feel about her, you should at least admit she's smart and talented (and if she were a man, that wouldn't happen at all.) How many times have we heard someone say about a guy that "I don't like him but he's talented, I like his acting or his music." Whereas with successful women, we'll find reasons to hate on them and what they're doing in a way that is directly proportionate to how outspoken they are. I think overall this was a brilliant and funny way of handling a serious issue that women face.
I love all the work they went to for her makeup and acting in this one. Not only did she have facial prosthetics, but she had like a muscle suit under the clothes, she had to have prosthetics on her legs for the tennis outfit since shorts, and she got a movement coach to help her move in a more masculine way. Also I know this was like 4 years ago but if you haven't watched the bts videos for this one, do it, it's really funny hearing her voice come out of this random dude. XD
I love the lyrics "Every conquest I had made would make me more of a boss to you" The songs she sang about her conquests have made her a very rich and successful BOSS. "I'm so sick of running as fast as I can wondering if I'd get there quicker If I was a man" She was signed by Sony ATV Music at the age of 14 and signed her first record deal at 15, how much quicker could it have been for her?! "Cause if I was a man, then I'd be the man" She had a net worth of $300+ million when she was only 30 years old, she is THE woman!
The double standard with the tennis scene reminds me of John McEnroe, he could throw his racket around, curse out the umpires and he was label just passionate about the game, but Serena questions a call and she is labeled disgruntled, losing, bitchy etc.
You clearly don't know how McEnroe was looked at. He was called a blowhard whiner. He was a joke. The difference is that McEnroe owned up to his attitude, even made fun of it himself.
@@thescott7539 By the media, but not by commentators, they might of grumbled here and there about him but he was always labeled a passionate, emotional player.
@@51Saffron Yes, and also selfish, arrogant, and unsportsmanlike. But because he laughed at himself, it became endearing. It's not gender, it's how one person handled it versus another. 30+ years apart BTW, so there was no Twitter or UA-cam to pick apart every little thing someone does.
Loved this. Loved the equipment upgrade from the last time I watched (it’s been a little while). You looked and sounded great. Always enjoy your take on these videos.
Selling of back catalogue is a weird thing that can happen to artists. It might well be unfair about her and Scooter. I do remember that Michael Jackson bought the Beatles back catalogue and Paul McCartney couldn't perform his own songs without permission from Michael.
You got really fooled in this video. Taylor was in the video. She was the man in the video made up. Also how can you not know Taylor had all those albums though?
What amuses me about this is that all her woke ideas stem from her needing to be more woke because she gets beat up a little on Twitter. . If Taylor swift was a man she wouldn’t be a fraction of what she is. She’s worth millions and can’t stop complaining about the “unfair” system...
what should i watch tomorrow?
Please watch kehlani all me video or valentine's day song you love it please please
The PlayGround please react to Madison beer!!
My oh my .Camila cabello
Doja Cat's live performance of "Say So" , Jimmy Fallon
This video. Then repeat until you realize how sexist you are. Duh.
it's always so much more interesting to watch women reacting to this because they (sadly) immediately get what's happening while men reacting do this often don't
all the male reactions ive seen their all just butt hurt
“If found return to Taylor Swift” and “no scooters” as in scooter braun bc he took her masters THE SUBTLE SHADE IS ICONIC
"I wonder if she's in the music video".
Well yes, but technically no. Also trivia: the ref in the tennis match is her dad!
Okay. This is probably the best video reaction of The Man. I love that she pauses to talk about the issues that Taylor Swift wanted to tackle in her video. Great job!! ❤️👍👍👍
I was waiting for you to figure out it was taylor 😂😂😂😂
we all were!! lolol
True😂
Omg her just being like “I wonder if she’s gonna show up in this video” lmfaoooo I love it
Finally I’m not the only one who didn’t realize it was Taylor until the very end
I think the tennis part was referencing John McEnroe and other male tennis players that throw tantrums and break their rackets and the media call them passionate, but Serena raises her voice once and is practically crucified. 😤
That's exactly it.
Didn't a girl just recently get angry and throw something at the ref
The media used to mock McEnroe.
I love when you realized that Taylor was Tyler Swift the whole time lmao 😂
BEST REACTION I'VE WATCHED, U SPITTIN TRUTHS GURL! LOVE U!

She is the dude
You got really fooled in this video. Taylor was in the video. She was the man in the video made up. Also how can you not know Taylor had all those albums though?
I think she got upset because the older guy thought she could do anything because she married he for money so he put cake in her face
☺️
Hey great reaction , plz react to Demi Lovato's new song I love me 💗
How people can't reason outside their anatomical and race identities amazes me.May I ask on the gender wars whose the winner?
So because this girl is dating the older guy and getting all his money suddenly the guy is sexist

You absolutely nailed this reaction. You hit all the points, yes ma’am!!
Y'all trippin. Being a man is not like that lol
