    A number of us have been saying for years SE needs to listen and engage with clubs, rather than dictate, serious culture change needed.

    In lots of clubs parents of lazy swimmers throw the favouritism card, or the race card if swimmer is not good enough. What I find mostly is That coaching focus is on those that want to train.

    I hope his leadership & management skills are better than what I experienced at British Triathlon. I had to start a complaint procedure after I was nearly killed by a reckless triathlon bike leader which left me with multiple complex injuries.
    The last response I received from British Triathlon, Mr Salmon had passed it onto his head of age group ops and her response arrived in an unsigned letter. He never spoke with me or the witness, so I don't go with his engagement comments.
