I am a theatre teacher and director with a long history of producing large scale, environmental historical theatre. One of my greatest accomplishments was in 1989, "EXCALIBUR: Tournament of the Sword". Our production was lovingly crafted, with a cast of nearly 60 actors in a six-hour performance on the autumn grounds of the Silvermine ski area in Harriman NY. We took a lot of heat for doing a sixth-century interpretation of the Arthurian legend. But all of the armor, weapons and set/prop pieces were authentic, down to the period footwear. Watching your video and following your exploits awakens such a spirit in me. How I would love to work with you guys in creating something truly epic. Kudos for a fine job, very well done! Your passion for the very fibers of the period is evident all you do! Bravo!
Wonderful! you guys continue to inspire me everyday. As a girl who loves cosplay and LARP, and you always inspire the small writer in me. The writer wo loves your stories! Keep doing what you do!!!!!❤❤❤
I first saw you in my favorite scene of Henry V. I loved it ! This was inspirational and beautifully done. For one who studies dark ages through medieval you all should be so proud of the work your doing. Bravo !
This is awesome! The costumes are meticulously well done, great battle choreography, and the perfect soundtrack. Look forward to watching more of your short films.
I really admire the effort put into this. The camera work is decent, and the costumes are great! The fight choreography could be better, but over all I give it a big thumbs up. 👍
This was executed so well. I absolutely loved how realistic all of the costume looked, and the fighting looked quite realistic as well, which was a breath of fresh air given how few films portray combat well. The music, was also incredible, and wasn't distracting, it fit perfectly, really, every aspect of this film was magnificent. You guys have done an excellent job on it all, and it deserves way more attention.
WOW!! This is so well put together... I am lost of words.. I had shiffers down my spine at the end! The graphics are amazing, the battles looked so real! the sounds are so well done.. it's... it's simply just a masterpiece!!! Keep up the good work guys!!
it took about a year! a few weeks to write. About a 2 months to design and make all the costumes. 4 days to shoot and about 8 months to edit, score and color. We made the costumes! We sell many similar ones at shop.fellandfair.com
Great film! One problem though. All of the main characters/good guys don't wear helmets, while the bad guys do wear helmets. It's a problem I see a lot in medieval/fantasy movies, but, this can be solved by either wearing a maille coif and/or wearing a helmet that shows your face. Hope this comment helps! Oh, and I almost forgot this. Whenever you wear a maille coif, make sure to wear an arming cap underneath.
Absolutely fantastic work! The cinematography, score, and acting really bring this piece together. Keep making these Beautiful works of art fellandfair!
@@fellandfair Thank you for the quick and helpful response. I am in love with all of your work. I will make it down there one of these years for the Weekend Warrior event. Cheers!
Oh my god, this is awesome! Congratulations on all your work, I follow your channel here and on fb, you are great! Cheers! Is there going to be another assassin video soon? :D
The sound effects could use a little work, realistically it makes sense that the swords make little sound when piercing bodies, but it just felt weird without that iconic sound effect.
the costumes especially are wonderful! simply breathtaking seeing this in action 🙏

Nice work! The only nit picky note I have is I wanted more of an impact sound with the shields. But that is it. Great work!
Fantastic ending!

What material do you guys use to make those little shoulder squares that you tie to your chain?
Some are wood, some are leather!
Some are steel too.

Very nice indeed! Too bad though, there's no women in this, like Rapunzel or Gwynevere :-)
Ну такое...могло быть и лучше
