I like Romanji. The problem with Hiragana is that it's slower than Romanji. But also you still can't read Japanese with it. So meh. I can read Hiragana ok. It doesn't seem useful. Even if I got really good it doesn't get me anywhere without Kanji.

deeto - date ni - a bit like 'towards' sasotara - from the verb 'sasou', meaning to invite/entice the person to do something. this conjugation with 'tara' ending means "IF you _verb_". aka "if you asked [her] for a date" dou - how desu ka - polite question ending marker
