Have you read Carlos Ruiz Zafon, specifically Shadow of the Wind? There's a signed copy at the bookstore but it's $200. That's too much for me to spend on a book I haven't read or heard of. I see several of his books at the store though. Apparently it's his best regarded book and called one of the 100 greatest books in Spanish. I'd be more interested tho if it was considered like in the Top 3 greatest Spanish books. Top 100 isn't as impressive to me.
Oh yeah, actually I read the Shadow of the Wind earlier this year. It was a pretty good read honestly. In the spanish reading world I think the novel is in the Top 20-30. I know there are like 3-4 books set in the same world. I really liked the shadow of the wind, but not enough to read the rest of the books
130 books should keep you out of mischief for awhile! So many books and so little time. Best wishes and happy reading from Lancashire, England.
