Another name for swing dancing is the jitterbug, my mother used to do this dance. She spent a lot of time telling the stories of performing the dance I was always amazed when she would talk about it. She gave birth to me when she was a few weeks shy of turning 41 and when the dance would come on tv I was surprised she used to do the dance.
Flamenco is not only extremely difficult, it's much more about the sound than tap dance. Dancers must be able to master the compas (rhythm) of each form of flamenco, and dance it accurately with not even a split second out of time, while expressing the emotions of the music.
Ballet is so precise,?such as hands in perfect position and straight backs. Our granddaughters 11 and was Clara in The Nutcracker this December. She’s amazing to watch.
I cannot dance to save my life. But I am fond of watching people who can do it so effortlessly. Love every one on this list. Also check out the Tahitian dance for physicality and the Russian Ghost Dance for the amazing hidden footwork.
I wish there was a video clip of the Four Little Swans instead of just a photo included - it's my favorite routine for showing people how intensely difficult and intricate ballet can be!
Animation dance is more knows as robot dance around the world and it’s inventor is Michael Jackson’s who mainstreamed it in his dancing machine dance routine
Swing dance, or its proper name, the jitterbug, should be higher on the list, as well as tap. Tap isn't just one dance, there's loads of variation, like reels and buck dance, just to mention a few. And jitterbugging is quite physically demanding, especially for the male partner, as he's doing all the lifts.
I am a zookeeper in chicago and I regularly feed the hippos day old sausages so they have a taste of their home. I put strings on the sausages and swing them around the hippos they get so mad at me and scream but it's an obsession sometimes the hippos try and break out of their cages but I keep swinging those hotdogs in wide circles over their heads. Luckily my boss doesn't know I do this or my coworkers
LOL #7 is not more difficult than #8 Swing, #9 Stepdance, and #10 Tapdance, not even close, you didn't even provide a good valid reason/explanation 🤣🤣🤣🤦
Great to see a variety of cultures on this list.
I appreciate you representing Nigerian culture 🇳🇬

I would include Bhangra. I saw Derek Hough and Shawn Johnson do that on Dancing With the Stars and my jaw was on the ground. 😱
I just Love River Dance, it goes directly into my heart

and fun fact: when a ballet dancer is en pointe, their feet are balancing pressure that can be up to 12x the dancer's body weight.
Happy thursday morning, Phoebe, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
You missed flamenco. I know people who have been studying it for decades.
lol, I’ve been swing dancing for 20 years and I could never do the moves in Hellzapoppin’.
I love you guys your videos bring me so much joy 😊
Thanks so much for watching!
Ballet, tango, Irish Step...
Scottish Highland dance is one of the most technically demanding dance styles.
Animation dance is more knows as robot dance around the world and it’s inventor is Michael Jackson’s who mainstreamed it in his dancing machine dance routine
This is why people were fit back in the day
I feel like Swing should have been higher on the list.

All of these dance moves are difficult indeed
Especilally when music's playing right?
Watchmojo already did a list like this about two or three years ago.
Totally respect break dance except for that Australian woman in the Olympics
Definitely ballet

Kizomba
What you are showing is not swing dance. Its lindy hop pure and simple. Swing is half as fast.
East coast swing, yes.
