Well said. Violence is NEVER the answer. There are much better ways to combat the Jehovah's Witnesses' problematic teachings, but most importantly, BE KIND TO THEM! Break the JW stereotypes of apostates and those that are critical of Jehovah's Witnesses. Use your knowledge and wisdom to help AT LEAST ONE PERSON to escape from such a harmfully abusive religion.
Thank you for urging compassion. I blame Watchtower more than I blame the individual member ... in many ways, the average member is a victim of brainwashing, manipulation, and financial abuse. Violence is never okay, and death should never be celebrated.

Thank you for covering this in a very respectful way. I never was a baptised witness, but for about 5 years I went to all of their meetings and studied with them. I've heard and seen enough to make me aware of what this organisation does to ordinary people and especially children. And because I have this knowledge I feel obliged to inform others about it... And attacking the vulnerable sheep is absolutely NOT the way. Please show the world your compassion and respect towards others at the protest on Oct. 31. My thoughts are with you. I have a lot of problems with the JW religion and organization, but truly, killing is not a solution to any of it. I hope those affected by this attack find help, love and support from their own group and from the outside world. They don't need harmful criticism at this moment, only aid and love of all who can spare them some. Please, be kind to them, help them. They're still humans, people like any other we see coming and going every single day when we go to work, just like our families and friends. Please, be kind to them in spite of all they do. Their lives are as precious as our own, regardless of who they are and what they choose to believe in.
My heart goes out to the victims. As a worker in an Emergency Room in a local hospital, I hope they get the care they need to get on the road to recovery
I don't know what to make of this. Should I feel upset? Should I be afraid? Emotional support is something I take for granted because I don't know what to do when I see these things happen. As someone who works events where anything goes, I'm never sure how I'll feel when I have to face a tragedy like this. I'm not sure if I have any more to say about this...
I personally think it's normal to have a mix of emotions. Anger, fear, disgust, all perfectly valid. I hope you'll never have to face a tragedy like this.
im glad you talked about the kids; hopefully it can change some minds. it doesn't matter how much one has suffered and by what hand; it is never okay to attack children.
It’s sickening about people who believe they were in the right when getting their message across…but still pray for those that they find a way, n that the light of reality will shine

I agree whole heartedly. I do not condone harsh criticism of JW people as individuals because of their beliefs, I do not condone mocking them. I condone speaking out against the policies that have proven harmful to so many current and former JW's. Being mindful that we all once were believers of that UNtruth until we no longer were should allow us to understand that hatred and violence will not work to break through to those stuck in the cult. It will destroy us from the inside out. Condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and my thoughts are with those in attendance at the convention.
I’m an ExJw & I get the fact that the JW’s treat us Ex’s horribly.. they “celebrate” us dying a horrific death at Armageddon, wanting us wiped off the face of the earth! The ExJw victims of watchtower want & need justice BUT violence against any human being isn’t the way to accomplish that. I left the organization, not only to gain freedom from the indoctrination, but also to become kinder & gentler as a human.. something watchtower doesn’t teach. If we continue on a violent path, watchtower wins & we are no better then they are. It accomplishes nothing! We have to do better as Ex’s, we have to fight this fight the right way by EXPOSING the GB.. not by hurting the rank & file. Doing acts of violence only shines a bad light on us & defeats our purpose!! My heart goes out to all who were injured & killed 🙏🏼🩷😢
I just started the video but I have to comment right at the start. Your preface about all the ex JW creators was well said. People tend to easily dehumanize out groups, pointing out how closely they are connected rather than what separates them is so important! Thank you for the reminder on perspective.
Im not nor have I ever been a jw im agnostic and was born Baptist Christion and to all those who are like me please think about what would happen if this attack was at the church you use to go to/are attending if god is good then he created all humans with humanity, look at it and see the humanity of the people who are harmed not a group or a religion... but the humans with lives and dreams loved ones and classmates just like you and me there where people that where hurt here and i can only hope they can rest in peace
This is really terrifying. The children are the innocent ones here they don’t have any choice in the matter. He took their life and did the wrong thing. Certainly there are better ways to do this. Like this really in dc Tuesday. I wish I could attend but I don’t have the funds to get there. It’s so sad that he felt this was the only option. Rest in peace to the victims and I hope the ones that were invited a speedy recovery.
All violence like this does is reinforcing the persecution complex in the injured (physically and mentally) and deprives the deceased any chance of finding the truth about the "Truth".😢
I refuse to hit like on a video of this nature. But I will make a comment for the algorythm. This call and caring response need to be heard by all. Ex-JW, PIMO, PIMI, and never-JW alike
What makes it even more awful is the fact that jw's can't have blood transfiusons. So the 12 year old who survived this attack may not get the propper medical care. It's sad someone would do something like this
i feel like this is just going to reinforce there belief towards the world and disfellowshipping. like you said JW are sheep but attacking sheep because of a bad shepherd doesn’t change anything in my opinion.
Hello fellow Canadian There's a massive protest at Washington DC regarding JW's harmful policies. Search for Be Free 2023 for more information about it. As to your other comment, I agree completely.
This is a protest that will happen in Washington DC where exjws are going to try and get the people in power to do something about watchtower and make them be held accountable for their actions unfortunately it’s going to be a lot harder to convince people what with what happened to the jws on three separate occasions people might link the exjw community with the people who committed those atrocities
I was never a witness, but I had an uncle and aunt that were "in the 'truth'." The idea that they might have been harmed because they were members of this religion frightens me. How can random violence, maiming innocent people, make the world a better place??
I usually just watch the Caleb and Sophia videos but I’ve started watching your other videos and I’m glad I have, though it’s unfortunate I’m commenting this on this video
Your stance on this is the absolute correct one. My closest family members are still PIMI including my Aunt/second mom and my cousin/big sister. This could easily have been them and I know their families are devastated. Perhaps the only comfort is their own in their belief in seeing their loved ones in the new system - a pale comfort for losing a loved one. None of this is okay - not what happened to the witnesses, not what the Governing Body is doing to their adherents, and not being cruel to those victims left behind.
My heart goes out to the victims. No matter what the reasons are and how much someone has been hurt by a cult, violence should never be the answer. Not only do attacks like these hurt innocent people, but it also has the opposite effect: terrorist attacks like these only feed the cult's persecution complex and confirm the GB's claims that otherworldly people are dangerous people who only want to hurt JWs. Attacks like these will only isolate them further and keep members from questioning their elders.
No, how on Earth could they "have it coming"? I really hope I don't see anyone saying that. I vouch for the abolition of the Catholic church, in which I was raised, but KILLING Catholics is not my MO. Institutions, not people, are to blame. And when someone says to me that institutions are comprised of people, yes, that's true, but it means that the people need to deinstitutionalize themselves, if able, and with help, and make a BETTER world, not a worse one.
Unfortunately I recall someone saying that in the comments section when Magog was talking about this fortunately Magog did not take that lightly and laid the smack down on this person calling them out on their atrocious behavior
If waking up causes some people to lose their marbles this badly, then probably it is best for those people to remain JW. True, I myself woke from the indoctrination and I have not been violent in any way. Terrorist attacks like these make me wonder if they should go totally online and abandon in-person meetings, at least families that have children.
I feel so sorry for the victims and surviving families and friends. The freedom to worship or not is such a basic and personal right, and it was stripped away in an instant. Very tragic.
First of all, these attacks are appalling and should be condemned, of which I see you have indeed condemned commander. I was never a JW, the division I am out of, taught us you JW were a weird cult. Little did I know, but later realized, I was in an equally weird sect, which just manifested its weirdness in a different way. When attacks happened like this, or any other form of persecution, it only validated our beliefs. We are being persecuted because we love Jesus. Scripture tells us this will happen; therefore, this is further proof we are following the right way. The JWs are no different. They will use this travesty as a affirmation to their belief. These attacks only cause people to double-down in holding on to their ridiculous beliefs. It is literally having the opposite effect of what the terrorists wants. The more they pull this crap, the more they will double down. All they are doing is killing innocent children, and few brain washed adults. The rest of the loons, see this attack as a verification of their faith. Can we stop killing each other yet? Agent 42 out
Couldn't have said it better myself Agent. I despise that the leadership will use this as a weapon to drag people further into the cult, and make them miss out on healthier lives. And also I hate what Dominic has done. It's wrong to do this to people who have no power and are just as enslaved as he was.
@@DarthMagog Yeah, so they’re probably paranoid even more- like that one trope where they don’t know who to trust and start making accusations (ironically too, much like their ancestors, during the Witch Trials). -further irony is I actually _am_ a Witch ^^;
To me this is horrific and is not the right way to fight jws it not only gives credence to the jws persecution complex but it makes people sympathetic to the jws making it harder for exjws to point out the wrong in the organization
I feel so badly for them, there are ways to help the most vulnerable. Attacking them is the worst thing someone could do. I have a friend from high school on the inside, I think about him a lot.
The average Jehovah's Witness is not the problem. They are the victim. The people hurt or killed in this attack are victims twice over. I am very glad to see the comments section here is dominated by empathy and kindness, rather than the ugliness I have come to expect from most comment sections. It speaks volumes about the community that has grown here. I hope the victims are able to recover where possible, and that the survivors, both of the event and of the deceased, are able to heal and move forward. This is not the way to solve the problem of the organization. All this does is hurt innocent people and deepen the indoctrination of survivors by validating persecution teachings. To address the organization and the problems therein, one must remember who the problem is: the organization itself, NOT its victims. My deepest sympathies to all present.
Aside from the horrific suffering and death this men causes, I don't understand how they are thinking. A church with a leadership that pushes and instill such a sense of global persecution to isolate and instil a distain for secular life, could only get more of that with acts such as this. Right?
Unfortunately yes, that's exactly what they'll think of it. There won't hardly be a mention of the 50 odd victims suffering in hospital, or the 2 women who lost their lives or the little girl who lost her brave fight in hospital in the early hours of the morning today. And I just, it's all I can do not to shatter today, ya know?
This makes me sad and ANGRY! While I can understand hating the Jehovah's Witnesses religion, this is NOT a way to combat hate within Jehovah's Witnesses! In fact, this only reinforces the members' beliefs regarding apostates (former members who left Jehovah's Witnesses or have been disfellowshipped and are now speaking out against the religion), making it even more difficult to wake them up from this cult! The ONLY way to combat hatred is through love, compassion, empathy, and kindness. Not this! This is the wrong way to go about it. I sincerely hope the perpetrator goes to prison for this. What he did was wrong. Hurting members of this harmful religious organization is NOT okay, and being a former member of Jehovah's Witnesses is NO excuse for his disgusting actions. Period. My condolences go out to those who lost their loved ones to this devastating incident. Although I certainly don't agree with their beliefs, I DO NOT condone something like this. This is just atrocious and heartbreaking. The fact that a 12-year-old little girl tragically lost her life to the bombing CERTAINTLY DOES NOT help matters much! 😢😭😭💔
Violence is never the answer to dealing with this religion, especially on their believers. The problem is the leaders, not the people who are brainwashed and obey their teachings. Violence is also going to fuel their persecution complex which will drive them further into the drivel the leadership is brainwashing them with. What someone should do instead is inform the world and lobby to their government to take away their tax exempt status or even push to mark them as a dangerous organization.
Is this a recent phenomenon? The examples you gave were from December of last year up to the present.... Does this mean that there is a recent spike in violence? If so, what do you think is the cause?
Seems to be fairly recent. Either everything was hidden very well ahead of time, or else wasn't happening. There just seems to be a lot of angry, current or former members. Lots of factors to consider. Mental health, poverty, hopelessness, isolation, physical and mental fatigue from the work schedule. All of which could be contributing to the spike.
Very sad update from 'business inside India'😔 The death tolll due to the blast rose to three after a 12-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries in the early hours of Modnay at the Kalamassery Government Medical College Hospital. The girl was admitted to the hospital on Sunday morning with severe burns..
Leviticus 19:18 : “Do not take revenge on others or continue to hate them, but love your neighbors as you love yourself. I am the LORD. “ . Romans 12:19 - “Never take revenge, my friends, but instead let God’s anger do it. For the scripture says, “I will take revenge, I will pay back, says the Lord. “ “ .
@@DarthMagog Thank you. The best way to change their minds, in my opinion, anyway, is to quote Scripture which contradicts their hate; it seems that people have forgotten the true Teachings in the Bible - love, compassion, understanding, forgiveness, unity, equality, and peace on earth and goodwill towards all. We are all the children of God.
Well, Watchtower is probably drooling to have "look at these faithful ones who lost their live do to keeping to the scriptural practice of abstaining from blood" examples. This along with the Hamas Israel stuff and those boxes that were sent out and opened on Nov 6th, a lot of JWs are probably very nervous.
That's what I've been hearing too actually. Watchtower loves to take advantage of these things, despite the harm that befalls their believers. No one wins really
Religion corrupts, absolute religion corrupts absolutely. Even if you are an ex JW, and joined another 1 thing is abundantly clear - virtually all of the mainstream ones of today Had a horrible past. The crusades, the inquisitions, the witch hunts, and so on. Even today some branches of Christianity still hunt down those they deem witches, and Zombies, and do as they did in places like Salem, and this is of all ages. It is best to apply these events, not just on JW, any religion. Virtually all worldwide religions of today is about social, emotional, and psychological control of its followers. It is sad that this happened of course. However if you looked in the past 10 years, how many was equally done against Christian, Muslim, and other religious organizations? And how many was done in retaliation to their practices? As Magog said here said "Think of the Children" Yes. Let them grow up outside of all religions, let them then when they are at an age of reason decide for themselves, not what the parents demand that they should do. It is not just the JW's that face programming children to be life-long servants. Also note - if you vote republican all of them are magga Christians, or part of Magga Christian organizations. they are open about this.
Please anyone looking for revenge remember its not the sames as justice. So sorry theses poor JW kids have twice as many problems now that this violence is becoming increasingly common. I gotta non-ironically put on my Maude Flanders hat for a second and say, think of the children.
Right there with you. The little girl caught in the blast lost her life yesterday morning. Kid didn't have a choice but to go to this thing, none of these kids do
I think the difference between most ExJWs and the Governing Body is that most ExJWs actually do care about cult victims and survivors. We hate this sort of stuff, those people didn't deserve what happened.

Somebody just gave fuel to the watchtower.
Which is terrifying...
Thank you for urging compassion. I blame Watchtower more than I blame the individual member ... in many ways, the average member is a victim of brainwashing, manipulation, and financial abuse. Violence is never okay, and death should never be celebrated.
Agreed. Definetly no winners here, but if I even get a whiff of The Governing Body using this to their advantage...
@@DarthMagogI can see them using this to further the jw persecution complete
@@DarthMagogMohl to být "útok pod falešnou vlajkou". Vždy je dobré položit sí otázku, komu to, co se děje, prospěje.... Děje se to všude, aby někdo prosadil svoje zájmy...
@@DarthMagog I sense it coming.
My heart goes out to the victims and their families. I can't even imagine.
Thank you for your message of kindness and love. It's what this world needs more than ever right now.
Sending love to you and everyone who needs it. 💜
Why hold psychical meetings nowadays anyways? Rip and speedy recovery to the victims.
They've been browbeating their members to get back to Kingdom Halls all year for unknown reasons. Either way, this is a disgusting tragedy
This is terrible and shouldn’t happen to anyone. Just awful.
Maybe even more since I'm a teacher and all of this contradicts everything I stand for in regards to children and teenagers.
I believe in the power of knowledge en love. And attacking the vulnerable sheep is absolutely NOT the way.
Please show the world your compassion and respect towards others at the protest on Oct. 31.
My thoughts are with you.
Lots of ❤ from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Hey I owe you one for this one, helping us get the name of this monster that did this.
Love your thoughtful commentary. My heart will always go out to the individual members, but I guess I’ve always had a big heart anyways.
I really appreciate your tone and clarity about a difficult issue. I hope your type of sanity and advocacy becomes more popular.
This deeply saddens me, violence isn't the answer.
Great video and very classy presentation of the horrid tragedy. Ty
Thank you Michelle. I hate seeing these types of reports, but it's important to discuss these tragedies.
😢😢😢 Horrible! 😢😢😢
Love to the victims & their families! I hope everyone will be ok
An unfortunate reality 😔
Thank you for this video. I hadn't heard of these incidents before. My condolences to all concerned.
This is so wrong. Pure evil to attack innocent people like this.
Yes :(
JW or not we are ALL human beings and no human deserves such A HORRIBLE fate.
RIP to all lives lost
Thank You. My heart goes out to everyone who has lost their lives and have been hurt. This must stop😢
Agreed. Most of these people have nothing to do with the harmful teachings. Only weapons we need are knowledge and wisdom in this particular fight.
@@DarthMagog You nailed it!!!
im glad you talked about the kids; hopefully it can change some minds. it doesn't matter how much one has suffered and by what hand; it is never okay to attack children.
The kids are always our biggest concern. Their always the most powerless in these situations.
It’s sickening about people who believe they were in the right when getting their message across…but still pray for those that they find a way, n that the light of reality will shine
As much as I disagree with JW religion, nobody deserves to die because of their religion :(
Praying that poor girl's injuries won't require a blood transfusion, since we know chances are good they won't allow her one... IDK if Indian doctors are allowed to give it if required despite parent's wishes, but if she needs one, I hope they don't make her suffer without a choice again...
So very sad that someone felt compelled the retaliate with violence.
Very much so
I agree whole heartedly.
Im not nor have I ever been a jw
im agnostic and was born Baptist Christion and to all those who are like me please
think about what would happen if this attack was at the church you use to go to/are attending
if god is good then he created all humans with humanity, look at it and see the humanity of the people who are harmed
not a group or a religion... but the humans with lives and dreams loved ones and classmates just like you and me
there where people that where hurt here and i can only hope they can rest in peace
That’s awful 😭😭😭
It truly is.
Any attack on other humans is an atrocity. Regardless of politics or religion.
excellent thoughtful summay. Thank you.
And may the force be with YOU !
I completely understand and agree with you. Thanks for supporting and helping spread the message!
While I have no love for the religion, I have nothing against the people. The person who did this is a monster.
Sorry some exJWs are going down this path.
I am too. It's utterly horrific.
This is heartbreaking. People should be able to feel safe in their own places of worship.
It's a fundamental human right. Saddens me to see it ya know?
What makes it even more awful is the fact that jw's can't have blood transfiusons. So the 12 year old who survived this attack may not get the propper medical care.
It's sad someone would do something like this
i feel like this is just going to reinforce there belief towards the world and disfellowshipping. like you said JW are sheep but attacking sheep because of a bad shepherd doesn’t change anything in my opinion.
Well said. I cannot condone this atrocity. It serves no purpose. It does the exact opposite 😢
All the best Darth ❤
Thank you Julie. Hopefully we can find a way to stop these in the future. Better mental health, something
PS: I'm Canadian, so I don't know; what's going down in Washington on Hallowe'en?
Hello fellow Canadian
There's a massive protest at Washington DC regarding JW's harmful policies.
This is so wrong. May the peace be with who affected by this tragedy.
I was never a witness, but I had an uncle and aunt that were "in the 'truth'." The idea that they might have been harmed because they were members of this religion frightens me. How can random violence, maiming innocent people, make the world a better place??
It is a former JW member who did not agree with JW teaching - he gave himself up - no matter what murder is no excuse for murder
Correct
Yeah I've got some family and friends still in the PIMI state, and it's getting scary.
Why would Jehovah not prevent something like this from happening, it is almost like he is not there at all.
I mean I feel ya, but probably not the time. We've still got some little kids fighting for their lives in Hospital
Absolutely horrible, these poor r&f are innocent, they are not the enemy, they also are victims of the cult rulers 😢
Yes. Especially these poor kids.
I am sorry for this just as much as I want the watchtower go down i don't want any of the Jws harmed they are victims master Magog. 😢😥😇
Your wording made me at firts think a jw committed it but after herain more i understand it was against them
If waking up causes some people to lose their marbles this badly, then probably it is best for those people to remain JW. True, I myself woke from the indoctrination and I have not been violent in any way. Terrorist attacks like these make me wonder if they should go totally online and abandon in-person meetings, at least families that have children.
Yeah it's a shock to the system without a proper support system. Honestly it's very jarring.
I feel so sorry for the victims and surviving families and friends. The freedom to worship or not is such a basic and personal right, and it was stripped away in an instant. Very tragic.
Yup, should be universal. Hate the teachings all you want, but leave the students be. Especially the children.
Even though they are a cult, Jehovah's witnesses don't deserve this
Agreed. Found out that little girl lost her life in hospital after this, I'm in shambles really
@@DarthMagogSame. She didn't deserve to go out like that... 😢😢😢💔
@@DarthMagogSame. She didn't deserve to go out like that... 😢😢😢💔
Also that attack probably has just reinforced their view of outsiders-
Which is ironic since the attacker was an insider
@@DarthMagog Yeah, so they’re probably paranoid even more- like that one trope where they don’t know who to trust and start making accusations (ironically too, much like their ancestors, during the Witch Trials). -further irony is I actually _am_ a Witch ^^;
Agreed... unfortunately. 😞😓
I agree the religion does horrible things, but nobody deserves being attacked like this.
To me this is horrific and is not the right way to fight jws it not only gives credence to the jws persecution complex but it makes people sympathetic to the jws making it harder for exjws to point out the wrong in the organization
The witnesses will only see this as persecution and will be all the more convinced that they are right!!!!!
Yeah that's what upsets me about these attacks. Well that and the senseless slaughter of innocents, but that goes without saying
I feel so badly for them, there are ways to help the most vulnerable. Attacking them is the worst thing someone could do. I have a friend from high school on the inside, I think about him a lot.
It's a hard thing to deal with. Just this once I wish they weren't so insular...
I feel sorry for the childern
I'm anti religion but this action is disgusting and uncalled for😡
Thanks😊😊😊
Sad news to report, but glad I could report it
I'm so sorry for them 😢💔
Violence is never the answer to dealing with this religion, especially on their believers.
Well said Darth!!
Thank you Stacy 💙
Is this a recent phenomenon?
The examples you gave were from December of last year up to the present....
Does this mean that there is a recent spike in violence?
If so, what do you think is the cause?
Seems to be fairly recent. Either everything was hidden very well ahead of time, or else wasn't happening. There just seems to be a lot of angry, current or former members. Lots of factors to consider. Mental health, poverty, hopelessness, isolation, physical and mental fatigue from the work schedule. All of which could be contributing to the spike.
This breaks my heart.
Same 😔
Very sad update from 'business inside India'😔
The death tolll due to the blast rose to three after a 12-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries in the early hours of Modnay at the Kalamassery Government Medical College Hospital.
The girl was admitted to the hospital on Sunday morning with severe burns..
Yeah I read about that. That poor baby, I'm just gobsmacked over it. No one deserves this
Leviticus 19:18 : “Do not take revenge on others or continue to hate them, but love your neighbors as you love yourself. I am the LORD. “ . Romans 12:19 - “Never take revenge, my friends, but instead let God’s anger do it. For the scripture says, “I will take revenge, I will pay back, says the Lord. “ “ .
Well said my friend
@@DarthMagog Thank you. The best way to change their minds, in my opinion, anyway, is to quote Scripture which contradicts their hate; it seems that people have forgotten the true Teachings in the Bible - love, compassion, understanding, forgiveness, unity, equality, and peace on earth and goodwill towards all. We are all the children of God.
@@DarthMagog Unfortunately, I seem to have some trouble with it.
The force is strong with you…
May it guide us through these troubling events
Violence is not the answer
Agreed. Ignorance is defeated by knowledge and wisdom
Agreed. I can understand hating Jehovah's Witnesses, but THIS is not the way to address the hatred within the organization. 😞😓
I'm sorry, I can't watch this video all the way through.
We understand Captain. Return to your duties, we'll have something a little more in line with our usual content this Wednesday most likely.
@@DarthMagog I just can't deal with hearing about children dying. Even JW children, as much as I hate the belief system.
Understandable. Stuff like this is just utterly heartbreaking. 😢😢💔
Good video👍
Thanks for the visit
@DarthMagog you are smart bro👍😂
Kid didn't have a choice but to go to this thing, none of these kids do
While I have never been JW, all I've seen on UTUBE is saddest from all exjw. Nothing from Governing Body I feel that tells who is to blame.
I think the difference between most ExJWs and the Governing Body is that most ExJWs actually do care about cult victims and survivors. We hate this sort of stuff, those people didn't deserve what happened.
