Nobody and I mean NOBODY broke Oliver the way Chase did. He was so big a threat he had to recruit 2 not 1 TWO of his biggest enemies Slade and Malcolm Merlyn to beat this guy.
At the end of Season 2, one would never expect that Oliver would ever team up with Slade or Malcolm after what they did in those seasons, let alone working with both of them

He even said before all Lian Yu happened « See you on the boat ». He has always been 10 steps ahead. He broke Oliver into revealing the dark killer that he is. He completely destroyed him and at the end he shot himself in the head. After executing his plan. Without a single pain.
@@tomharrington7041 Malcolm won at like 50%. He wanted to destroy ALL the glades causing thousands of deaths. Instead his first earthquake device was disabled by Lance and he only had his second device which wasn't the more effective causing 503 people including my boy Tommy...
I think he looks better as a villain. And there is only one role he should do whenever he steps in DC, that is of Prometheus, because he is the best guy for this role........
No one on earth without powers would stop them. However, if Reverse Flash or Zoom fought them, I could see it going either way. Cause they both have zero problems with killing.

The greatest injustice that the writers did to this wonderful character is have make his last act worthless. They didn't have the courage to actually kill a significant character in the Lian Yu explosion. I was so disappointed

This was an Incredible Masterpiece for My All Time Favorite Antagonist’s on Arrow and My Fourth Favorite Villain in The Arrowverse. Josh Segarra did a Legendary Performance Bringing This Amazing DC Villain To Life. Plus Michael Dorn did a Phenomenal Performance Bringing The Voice Of Prometheus to Life as Well.

Even after Prometheus was gone, Oliver continued to lose everything, the impeachment, his Imprisonment in iron heights, Quentin’s death, William going to live with his grandparents and also losing his half-sister. Even when attempting to settle down and raise a family, the monitor shows up and tells Oliver he has to help him. Chase would’ve had a lot to brag about if he were still alive. I feel they should’ve done an episode where Novu brings Chase back to test Oliver. Not only would this help Oliver confront his demons and face off against his greatest enemy again, it also would’ve made season 8 a bit longer. While Prometheus may have failed in his goals, he was able to do the one thing Malcolm, Slade, Ra’s, Damien, Diaz, and Emiko failed to do: break Oliver. He’s basically Oliver Queen’s Joker. They’re both obsessed with tormenting their enemies, they both want their enemies to break their moral code against killing, and they both come back as hallucinations after their deaths, though this only applies to Joker in Arkham Knight. Both Prometheus and Joker are Oliver and Batman’s worst enemy, and they bring out the worst in them.
