It is indeed :) the squares on mine are 18 inches along each side but you can get bigger / smaller versions. Happy spinning!

Hi Jacob, are you looking for training videos or places to train with other people that speak English?

Hi - I want maybe a video. One trick that I see everywhere that I can't seem to accomplish is the one where people are spinning it normally and then are able to catch the dapo in mid air and spin it while holding on to it... I know that didnt really make sense, but its the trick that allowed you to what youre doing at the beginning when youre going through your legs.

Its also the same trick that (in your original dapostar video, 21 seconds in) your friend is able to pick up the dapo when its so close to the ground and keep it spinning after grabbing it midair and throwing it back up

Hi Jacob, I am thinking of getting a GoPro so I can do some slow-motion shots of moves like this and in higher quality as my camera is very old. In the meantime I will try and describe the grab and general motion. Any time the Dapo comes in low you need to turn your wrist, so your palm is facing up for the grab. That is the key. From there you kind of spiral up maintaining the diameter of the Dapo. It’s a little tricky to descried, I hope this helps.

Hey Ailai Pinia, are you referring to time 0:56? If so it’s a little tricky to start cold so I usually spin it up first normally and then place my hands either side and synchronise flicking fingers towards myself and having them touch in the same place. I also found being closer to the centre of the DapoStar helped. Hope this is useful. If you were referring to a different move please provide a time code. Cheers Thor

Ok, so this is loosely based on poi moves. Start by gripping the DapoStar at the top edge and spinning it first on the outside of your arm then on the inside, once that feels comfortable try to isolate the DapoStar by now moving your hand/arm in circles roughly the diameter of the DapoStar. When this feels comfortable and the DapStar stays open, flat and roughly in the same place, try to move this same motion around the body, to the left, to the right, front and back. Then try all this again but with the other hand. Finally try using two and syncing them up. It’s a fun move and I think it has lots of scope for improvement and experimentation.

He should get some made out of terry towel and use them after a shower. Wouldn't need to floss any more, ay?
