I really LOVE this channel. And I am a sucker for testers🙂 I enjoy your explanations. Thanks! What would you really recommend as the best battery for flashlights? The 18650 I mean.I have the Molicells. But you have these Liitikala from Ali? And the 4000 mAh? Are they any good?
Hi, To the external blue terminals you can connect different holders that contain, per example, 21700 cells. You can obviously test from only one holder at a time, 18650 OR 21700 … 👍
that's what what I was thinking. but the current never gone more than 3.7A. please watch. They lied. When you connect more than 2 cells, the current drops as you add more cells.
Hello Sir, maybe you can help me. I bought the same thing. How can i measure the internal resistance? For all 8 Channels i gut the Value 9999mR? Is there something i did wrong?
The value of 9999mR is when the slots are empty. Internal resistance is measured when the cell is inserted into the socket. But all this is irrelevant, because the resistance measurement in this device is very inaccurate.
Hi, your review is not fair because there is probably something wrong with your powering setup. Do not use the barrel connector (not intended to carry reliably 10A) or crocodile clips. At least you should use the screw terminals with low resistivity wiring. I have three of these testers, I glued and soldered XT30 connectors directly under the board, and with a 10A PSU for each device, they can charge at 1A on the 8 slots simultaneaously. They are pretty accurate in capacity and internal resistance measurement for their price, compared to a high end tester like SKYrc MC3000. And more accurate than OPUS BTC3100. Last advice, add a polycarbonate piece on top of the the screen to protect it, otherwise if you let a cell fall on the original screen, it may be easily damaged or destroyed.
I bought those same black batteries, 8 pack, 6+ months ago from Ali-E and am getting 600-700 mah reports on my 4 channel version of the tester. Untrustworthy brand!
I can't say anything yet. in a feew seeks I am going to review them. Then after 1000 cycles of charge and discharge i wil reveiw them again to see how they hold.
@@WattHour Just to let you know I weighed mine and they are between 28 - 29.63 grams. Also, mine are the exact same wrappers without the name Litokala. All of mine are just blank it was never printed on the batteries.
I enjoyed the video, but try not to overexplain everything. Ie: here is channel 1.. at this point we know where are the rest. But you keep going. Even after 7 channels are mentioned you still want to tell us where is channel 8. When in the menu the menu closed twice because you explain in circles too long, not sure why or what to say. At voltage stop or lvd low voltage disconnect you ended up confusing yourself and forgot to show what options it had. In any case, i still benefit from the video, i had my eye on that one for a while but are disappointed with the build. Low charging and discharging and lack of foresight by not adding 3,650v charging for lifepo which also have small cylindrical models like 18650,26650,32650 ect. Thanks again.. practice talking points next video ;)
lol, I just got the 4 and 1 channel chargers. I saw this one and I "whoa'd". Thanks for showcasing this.
Good video thank you!
nice review.

Thanks. I have not tested them. On Januaray I will do a review video. then after 1000 cycle of test I will psot another review.
@@WattHour Great! Thank you.
Very good review as always. Can someone please send him a UNI-T UT673PV panel test meter to review?
Yes I own it but he does not reply to dms
Next version will be with nimh nicd and other Like litokala ;)

18650 fits. Other batteries could be connected via the blue terminals
That barrel jack is probably heating up, having a lot of voltage drops at high currents

Hello, it should show it as I shown in the video. You don't need to do anything.
The value of 9999mR is when the slots are empty. Internal resistance is measured when the cell is inserted into the socket. But all this is irrelevant, because the resistance measurement in this device is very inaccurate.

I will test it again and get back to you. Thanks
There is one also sold for 21700 cells to
it won't fit but if you connect wires, yes it will work.
@WattHour yah

I appreciate your feedback and will try to be more concise in future videos.
