Mahindra looks so at home in the Australian bush. If you don’t need the power of a land cruiser this is the ticket. Plus half the price. Looking forward to more mahindra.
Thanks for watching mate. Yep I can buy 2 of these compared to some other brands. I keep asking people what makes there 4x4 20-30 thousand bucks better than a mahindra. The cold hard fact is they aren't!! Even our tuned Colorado is nowhere near 20k better then it. I predict you will start seeing people use their hard earned money more wisely now and you will see a lot more mahindras running around.
Very helpful video thanks… Ive had my 2014 model for a while, its now fully kitted out for touring, with lift etc. Ive been considering a camper trailer, but wasn’t sure how it would go with one in tow. Don’t want to fork out for the trailer if its not comfortable hauling it. A camper would be at least half the weight of your hauler I’m guessing, so do you think it would be working too hard pulling a camper through some high country tracks?…
Thanks for watching mate. The mahindra will do it easily, even pulling our toy hauler it had plenty left. Some long hills I was back to 5th, but apart from that it was pretty good pulling it. Plus the hauler was loaded and I had the misses, three teenagers and a dog on board. A camper trailer will be absolutely no hassle for it. 👍
Just wondering how the ECT (engine coolant temp) went with that on the back and the spotties on the front of the bull bar, I've got nearly the exact set up.
Thanks for watching mate. It's strange but the standard in dash temp reading didn't move but the data scanner we got from kings was reading between 92 and 96 degrees. I'm not sure where it's getting its reading from, but that was saying that even at idle in the shed. I'm sure if it was running at that temp it would definitely be down on power and you would smell it getting hot. But it run perfectly fine.
Thanks for watching mate. This mahindra is a very good mix of off road capabilities and long distance touring. And it is very well equipped and all at a excellent price. As a rating out of 10 it's definitely a high 9.2. The only thing I can pick on is it could do with a little more storage in the centre console, and the doors do feel a little to close to you when sitting in it. Apart from that it does everything our Colorado does and it was over 20k dearer. Hope this helps mate👍
Thanks for the info thinking of buying a 2nd ute for fun in the bush as l live right next to some fantastic tracks, l have a 2020 Isuzu D-max all set up for touring and pulling the van, l just miss a nock around Ute and don't mind New. Cheers, Neil.
Could definitely do with a bit more power. But then again it wasn't ment to pull the toy hauler all the time. The Colorado on the other hand would shit it in.
I'd buy one if they had a dealership here in SA. Also, you have to pay roughly 400 bucks an year for commercial Rego even if you're using it as a private/family vehicle.😑
Thanks for watching mate. That sux that you don't have a dealership over there. Our 4 cylinder rego is about $800 a year for a ute. They are greedy pricks and the roads suck!! I hope they open one over there for you soon mate👍
G'day mate. Iv never had any of my 4x4's on the beach. Cut way to much rust out of 4x4's in my time. But I havexhad mine in soft sand and they work really well. They are geared very well for the small amount of power they have. And the mahindra is reasonably light for a 4x4. Like any sand driving it's always best to air down the tyres, but the mahindra does it with ease. Hope this helps mate.😀👍
Just bought one, this video certainly helped with the decision as I’ll be towing a similar weight every now and then !
Thanks for watching mate. I know you will be happy with your decision. I certainly am. Have fun on your adventures 👍

Great Video Mate... I've got the S6 Single Cab 4 x 4 and absolutely love it.... Just turned over 2500k's... :)
Thanks for watching mate. Yeah I was pleasantly surprised with how it towed. Definitely happy with it. I do like the look of the s6👍
Took one for a test drive a few days ago, just waiting on the quote for a silver black hawk edition, with a but of extra fruit.👍
Good on ya mate, you will definitely enjoy it. And thanks for watching 👍
Thats what i got with extra fruit.
Happy as bro

No problem mate 👍
Not bad 7.4ltrs per 100km @13.5 km per litre
Yeah it is pretty good on fuel. It has lost about 100km/tank now with the wide tyres though. 👍

I want to see it go uphill like the Toowoomba range

Hi, how does it go in soft sand on the beach?

In india this is known as the Scorpio
Nice, thanks for watching mate. And please share my channel around. I would really like to see a lot more people get interested in the mahindra. 👍
It's called Scorpio Getaway.

Question..
How did you wire your spotlights.?
Just got some spotties but wiring harness plugs dont fit
Do you mean the wire for high beam?
@@grahamharris4wdadventures53
Yes. The plugs i have forspottie wiring harness dont plug into factory high besm plug
I didn't use the plug. I taped in to the high beam wire on the bulb and soldered it.
@@grahamharris4wdadventures53
Can you still switch off spotties independently on their own switch?
Yep sure can. It's only providing power for the high beam. All other wiring stays the same.
