It was great to see him working with Robert Rodriguez again, Mickey was perfectly cast as Marv. I really enjoyed 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' Eva Green was great in it, but I still prefer the first one.
@@CoolCityCactus Agreed, it had the originality and shock factor that the follow up didn't. Plus , was very dark. The whole mood , narration and contrast invited the viewer into an exclusive, dangerous and exciting world that they could escape any time they wanted ( unlike the characters)
@@CoolCityCactus Hey Cool city cactus, I'd love to know your top 10 Rourke ( or anyone reading, for that matter) Here's mine : 1. Angel Heart ( coolest performance ever ) 2. Barfly ( sleazy, funny and endlessly re-watchable) 3. Rumblefish ( a Coppola gem, great cast) 4. The Wrestler ( breaks your heart how randy screws up when he's winning in life) 5. Pope of Greenwich village ( an easy film to while away a couple of hours ) 6. Year of the dragon ( once you get past the grey hair - you're hooked ) 7. Diner ( popcorn scene) 8. Desperate Hours ( I liked it!) 9. The Last Outlaw ( Rourke does cowboy) 10. Johnny Handsome ( preposterous, but hugely enjoyable)
Anyone who loves dogs as much as Mickey does is a good person. I love him, a proper dude.
love mickey rourke forever & ever
Mickey is without a doubt one of the greatest actors
Ever to make the big screen!
TBH
Fantastic actor
Mickey is a great actor. Sin City and Spun were great.
Brando. Mickey says the best. Great respect.
Love you Mickey!!!!💘The Pope of Greenwich Village is one of my favorite films!!
Bless him x
I'm one of the rare few people who liked Sin City 2. The first one blew me away but Mickey had more screen time and was hilarious in it.

I meant that I found SC2 funnier and the Rourksta had more screen time.
@@jezwotton2126 Mickey certainly had some great lines in SC2 - Nancy: Looks like trouble.
Marv: Looks like Christmas.
