- Video showing how to remove the rear bumper lamp units on a Land Rover Discovery 2 TD5 facelift. You need to remove the rear light to change the light bulbs.l
What a brilliant how-to video! One of the best I've come across on UA-cam! Simple, concise and extremely well described and carried out. Not a word wasted or superfluous; very well done! Thank you! D.
As others are saying - one of the best How-to videos on UA-cam.
Presice and short how-to. Very well described with excellent key points. Especially with pulling the plastic body out of the bumper. Works for me very well. Thank you. Thumbs up
Perfect video - showed me exactly what I wanted to know, no fuss, no making me wait - awesome :)
Brill video it has saved me loads of time hassle and damaged knuckles thank you.
Thanks for posting. Just fixing my blown bulbs now.
good job - happy motoring !
Nice one - exactly what I needed. Thanks for posting..
Brilliant, I was looking for how to remove bumper :) very informative, thanks.
Great video! To the point 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Bought left and right new Britpart lenses (red fog and clear reverse) that fit into the rear bumper (as shown in this video) in a 2003 Disco 2 - one Britpart lens fell out somewhere on the road and took the original LR bulb holder and gasket with it! Had to buy a new (bought LR genuine) bulb holder and gasket and another lens! Both rear lenses looked to be secure (held with the clip as shown), but somehow one fell out. Will be using silicone sealant this time around so not just relying on the clip. The original lenses never fell out in 16 years!
And now you know why Britpart parts are known as Shitpart parts to those who know. I'll never buy Britparts again after having to change the front wheel bearings two years on the trot for the MOT after driving about three thousand miles between MOTs!
Britpart parts are cheap for a reason...
Thank you sir!!!
Thankyou m
Thank you
It's the Same procedure for a discovery 1?
My bumper light won’t fit back in, the non spring side keeps popping out. Any idea why?
Mine popped out and took the bulb holder and gasket with it - lying on the road somewhere! Might double-check security of fit second time around and also secure with silicone sealant for added security. One of the Britpart lenses seems to be secure but the one on the other side popped out twice and of course eventually fell out completely somewhere on the road!
Can I make my landrover 2 look like a 3 or 4? Thanks
No
Only if you've bought the model you want your Land Rover to look like
Thanks 👍👍👍👍👍
