Cheers Kevin. Aye, the weather wasn't too bad down the west coast that day. One of those days where you know if the top was cloudy, you can just wait a little bit for it to clear.
Where I'm from (British Columbia), the winter months are perpetual fall/spring in the lower elevations, and only truly winter in the hills/mountains, and this video reminded me of that. Absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks Paul. Yeah, there's not much snow left on the smaller Munros, it disappeared really fast last week. Hopefully we see some more before spring. Cheers.
Hi Andy, Stunning, what a super day you had on this one. Great to see the current snow condition for reference as its unlikely next weeks weather is going to add anything significant. Cheers, Charlie
Hi Charlie. Yeah, it turned out to be a great day, it was 50/50 for cloud on the forecast and got lucky with clear summits. I was surprised at just how much snow had melted over the past week, with just patches left on the smaller Munros. Cheers.
Hit the jackpot again Andy. I recall a hell of a grind up to the south top and then a pleasantly narrow ridge to the summit. I biked the first 3 miles but track wasn’t great.😊
Hi Michal. Yeah that pull up the first part of the hill was steep, and a bit boggy after all the snow melt. It was a nice walk up the glen too, but wished I had taken the bike on the walk back. Cheers.
Another fine day oot Andy. 😎 You certainly nail the weather. 👌
