I have not seen my youngest daughter now for about 10 years and I can not believe how much you sound and look just like her. If I closed my eyes I would swear it was her teaching this video. Thank you for being you!! I love your enthusiasm and spirit. Thank you...V
Thank you! Zippers are easy but the curved zippers before seeing your video were always challenging and disappointing. The 1/4" snips every 1/4" or so and doing the basting stitch are both new things I will be doing. (I was cutting too deep and at too wide an interval and consequently getting bad results. Thanks to you, I know why.) P.S. Using your techniques, I just completed a pouch with a zipper around three sides. The basting is also way more useful than I had realized! Thank you again.
I need to go back to school to take zippers in the round 101 again hahaha. thanks for the tips. The H2O2Go bag is kicking my butt. This gave me hope that I will eventually get it
hello! can you make a video on how to finish closing the bottom of this “flap”? I have followed as making a lined zipper pouch and zipper is installed as in video but now i am confused how to finish bottoms of both the outer and liner
Should I use fray check on snipped portion of zipper? Have you ever had a problem with fraying? I had a zipper fray on a bag and backpack I purchased. That's why I ask. Your work is flawless and ability to explain details is priceless.
As long as the snips are within the seam allowance you should not have any issues. I have not experienced any myself with this technique! And thank you 😊 that’s so nice of you to say!
Again, nice work, you make it look very straightforward, which it might be but not to a beginner, that and the way you explain everything is fantastic, thank you.
Hello great video! is there a way without the addition of side panels to stop and start the zipper 2-3 inches up from the bottom instead of opening completely? is there a way using zipper tabs or better yet without.. i want the bottom of the bag (the top part in video as bag is upside down) to be sewn outer to outer and zipper to start 2-3 inches up. any assistance how to do this would be appreciated!!

I’m sending you a hug about your daughter. Families are unique and I wish you the best.
Were you a bad mother?
I love love love that you get right to the point and I don't have to listen to all sorts of talk up front. thank you!
Thanks! And definitely don’t watch the Friday Lives 😂😂🤣
Really well explained. Can't wait to try this out, my first attempt was a mess!

Thanks so much for sharing this..I’ve been struggling with curves and my zipper tape stretching and not lining up so I’m excited to try your method.

If the pouch is already sewn togeher will clipping the cuvre part of zipper work.
Did you just put interfacing on lining or both outer fabric and lining?
Both. It’s written in the pattern 😊
