I’m a current student in college and I have recently realized that my passion is in farming. Although it has nothing to do with my major these videos and the gardening I have done in my own home have fueled my fire to have my own homestead in the future. I just want to thank y’all for all that you do these videos are the best!
Justin, I'm worried about you man. You need to slow down before you have an accident. Just do your best to pace yourself, as we older folk tend to say. God bless.
Have had a small raised bed in the past but this year we're going to triple what we've done in the past, we're 72&74 years old. Have learned a lot watching your vlogs, so here's to groceries from our yard 👍 thanks Rebekah, Justin and your children 💗
You might consider building a little fence area where you can let little Teddy hang outside off leash if he wants to (Or you can banish him when he needs a break from the house) and you don't have to worry about him getting into things or lost. It could even be the area where you have the raised beds since there is no way he is gonna get into those beds. The fence doesn't even have to be that tall since he's such a little guy. It would be a good investment for a baby that'll stay with you 16-20 years.
Justin, the company Dramm has a great shut off valve with a large thumb lever that works awesome between the nozzle and the hose to help with the leaking water. Lots cheaper than replacing nozzles! 👍😁
Hey I'm first! They do say to pick the flowers on strawberries the first year but I know of people who just let them bloom and ate them and they seemed fine. Why don't you do half and half or do a experiment and do half a row picked off and half a row not. That would be good for the kids schooling!
Love your videos can't quit watching them everyday! Matter of fact I watch about 5 of them a day! I watch the new one you put out and old ones and sometimes I watch more than that! Love this channel and love your family! " Catch your going tos, to your get tos"
Hi Justin, You seem really tired in this clip. Please get some more sleep and slow down a little. You are pushing yourself too much and it is stressful. Please slow down and smell the great country air.
Wow you guys are running on all cylinders! The scene with the sheep is amazing with the drone footage. Cool seeing your son running the controls on the drone and you running with the camera. What a juggle! Beds look amazing. Love to see those soil blocks. Puppy is adorable.
Bet you get a lot of comments appreciating that we are not alone in having those kind of days..Also, Rebekah could not have said it better "I want to find what I have and get rid of the stuff we don't need". So true.
A simple fix for leaking spraying nozzles is an in-line shut off. You can find them in pvc that are really inexpensive. All you need to watch for is a male hose thread on one side and a female hose thread on the other. Once you see how good this works you’re gonna get one for every hose you have. I used to struggle with trying to bend and crimp a hose when it’s on so you can connect another hose. This is hard on your hose and will cause problems. With the shut off on the end of every hose you can stop your water right there no mater what the reason.
I’ve never seen a man take a gas powered tractor to push burning brush into a brush pile. Thankfully, you didn’t catch the tractor or yourself on fire.

Put a unused bucket under your leaky spout. You can use that collected water to wash off the platform the next day or garden or whatever.

raised beds are also easier for us older folks to harvest, weed and water. those raised beds are real nice Justin.
Can't wait til I can start planting my sprouts here in Colorado.

Zig rocks: “People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing- that’s why we recommend it daily.”
Veggie garden looks great.

Scooyps are plastic, of course they broke.
Dude, You make thousands posting videos... Buy a new one. or spend a few cents on rebuilding the one you have. Regarding the nozzle, sprayer.
