I was SA by my brother at 6 and I’m 40 now and it never goes away. It’s one of the things that u want to go away but it don’t. Childhood trauma lasts forever. I’ve never gotten a apology and the whole family is mad at me as if it’s my fault. My brother made me do the same thing her brother did and it’s sad! I’ve been through intense therapy and it still won’t go away, it only helps me cope day to day with it. I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy.
Me too but he passed years ago but you definitely hold on to things . Life it’s tough I forgave him and the others . But I haven’t fully healed and definitely have had more traumas since.

This breaks my heart to watch the video; my sister was molested by my mother sister’ husband, I believe she was around the same age. My sister suffered from trust issues, physiology problems, drug abuse, etc she is 65 years old and still suffering. She received counseling many times, never married, at times she still talks about it. Her abuser still alive I heard he had a stroke recently. We just found 5 years ago. My aunt and there children are angry at my sister for coming out about this. Shame on all of them 🥲

This breaks my heart to watch the video; my sister was molested by my mother sister’
husband, I believe she was around the same age. My sister suffered from trust issues, physiology problems, drug abuse, etc she is 65 years old and still suffering. She received counseling many times, never married, at times she still talks about it. Her abuser still alive I heard he had a stroke recently. We just found 5 years ago. My aunt and there children are angry at my sister for coming out about this. Shame on all of them 🥲
