    Praying for this young lady. I can relate as my grandma raised me from an infant until 18. My mom was a drug addict and still is to this day. My grandma showed me unconditional love and was the only "mother" I knew. She taught me everything. As she got older, she got sick and I started caring for her as she cared for me when I was younger. She gave me life and I wanted to return the favor. She passed away last year. I found her deceased in her home and had to perform CPR on her while 8 months pregnant until the paramedics arrived. I've since been diagnosed with PTSD from the trauma and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of her. She was my angel.

    This made me cry. I wish I could give her a big hug and adopt her even if she’s19. Her best bet is to realize she is on her own, and will have to do what’s best for her. Go to college and really study to be someone in life. Once she gets a job and somewhat settled she needs to go to school to become a Dental Assistant in just a few month. Never give up hope. I can see she is going to succeed no matter her past. She’s young and gorgeous. As far as men, guuurrrr, u don’t have time for all that. That’s just a distraction. You’ll get your King later. Stay focused.

    If things were left to her and her family said she couldn’t take care of it herself, and had her sign things over at age 11. She was not an adult and she may have the ability to go after them for those assets. Legally it’s about getting what should not have been taken away from her and giving her some stability financially, I hope she pursues legal avenues. I haven’t finished llistening to the whole interview. I really like her heart. She is not just out for the money. She’s looking for love and people that would really care about her.

    This interview moved me to tears. She doesn’t deserve that life. She is very articulate and I still see hope in her eyes. She is still young enough to get help. Not sure if she’s tried Covenant House. She can live there, find a job/school and transition into her own place. Unfortunately, foster care doesn’t end well for those that have aged out. Many of them end up on the street or with abusive family and “friends.” CPS needs to do better for kids in state’s custody.

    There is nothing vindicating or justifiable that a father can say if he hasn't seen his 19 year-old daughter since she was 14. That's a half-decade. And if he accuses her of lying, he's full of audacity because any teenager who's living under a bridge has obviously been failed by their entire village, father included. There is nothing he can say to make HER look worse than he, her mom, foster parents, etc. already look.

    • @tincredible
      @tincredible Рік тому +1

      @@luckyguys7 One's responsibility to their minor kids isn't contingent upon the child's behavior. Moreover, a parent can't blame kids for lacking values that the parents weren't present to teach. Children don't just magically grow into these wise souls; they have to be raised and taught. Niether the mom nor the dad weren't there to instill anything useful in the child. At the end of the day, being "bad" or stealing are absolutely not excuses to neglect your minor child. Also, have you considered that she stole and acted out BECAUSE of the neglect and abuse in her background? She has a crack-addicted prostitute as a mom whom she's never met, absent father, multiple, neglectful, pervy family members who sided with her molesters, etc. She probably stole because she was deprived of so many of the basics a kid needs for survival. I come from a loving, nurturing village, & I've never stolen a thing because I've never had to. I can't imagine what I may have done for survival if I'd been a kid who was dealt her deck of cards.

I'm seeing the same disturbing pattern with this 19 year-old that I saw with Jamiya & her twin bro, & that's foster or adoptive parents disposing of kids like used toilet paper the day the kids turn 18 & are no longer a guaranteed source of income. Baby girl dont you give up,,,,I see you making it. I wish I could let you come live with me and my daughter. You are so intelligent and and has a big heart. I hate she is in this situation and I am going to definiately keep her in my prayers. She touched my heart and I really wish I could do something for her. She is very bright and has mad potential. I am definately going to send her a cashapp though. God please show her favor and open doors for her that noone can close. Send an angel, lead and guide her in the mighty name of Jesus. She beautiful and bright. I would love her to pieces like her grandma did. she had me in tears.

    Some of the blame should be directed at the mother. She really did not growup entirely in foster care. She did have a loving grandma; the father acknowledged her as being his daughter by taking her to his mother,her grandmother; he believe in good faith that she is his daughter; but was a DNA TEST DONE. IF YOU ASK ME,THE FATHER IS THE BETTER ONE THAN THE MOTHER. MOMMA'S BABY,DADDY'S MAYBE. She needs psychotherapy. Her options are military,trade school and college. Growingup in fostercare is no excuse for bad behavior. I was a ward of the state from 6 years of age until 21 yrs of age. I completed college and went into my profession. We have choices in this life. Choose wisely. Most kids who grow up in fostercare spend too much time feeling sorry for themselves.

    You can’t sign anything over at 11. Your signature means nothing at that age. You still have a house, car, and that check. I wish I could help her with this one.

    This young lady’s story really hit home, I went through something similar with my parents, my mother put me out at the age of 12 and never came looking for me…Never!
    I wanted to have loving parents but it just wasn’t meant to be for me… I pray that it would be different for the beautiful young lady. It seems like she has a good head on her shoulders and a very loving heart, regardless of what she’s been through.
    There’s still hope for her if she can just strong a bit longer, I’m sure things will turn around in her favor… May God be with her every step of the way, I 🙏 pray

    This is very very sad. Seeing stuff like this makes me reflect on how traumatic my childhood was. Im so grateful my grandparents helped me get my life together before they passed. I was able to graduate from nursing school, obtain my license, and make a good life for myself. There is no telling where I would be now if it wasn't for them. Life is very hard when the people who are supposed to love and guide you treat you like trash. I really hope this young lady finds her way.
