I have lived in a family of hoarders for years but have broken the cycle. I hate how this lady's mental illness made her unable to realize what she put other people through by cleaning that type of filth. After some episodes of Hoarders, that is the most disgusting house I think I have ever seen. The defendant should be completely ashamed to even show her face in court.
I worked for a gas utility. A gas leak would never cause that kind of filth. Natural gas is odorless and colorless. Odor is added to it to make a leak perceptible. That woman was living in filth. She contracted for a cleaning crew, not a hazardous material team that would have cost her 8-10 times as much. Yuck!!!!
She needed it clean to make it seem as if she lived there, so that way she could be involved in the gas leak law suit, there’s no way she was living in that house! If she was really living in that house I don’t know what to say! I’m at a loss of words.
I TOTALLY believe that the city told her that she needed to get that place cleaned, but it wasnt because of the gas leak. If there was hazards caused by the gas leak, the city would be reaponsible for cleaning that, not the homeowner. They definitely sent an inspector who then tol her to hire a cleaner because of the sorry state of her home.
Personally I would have exited that mess as soon as I got there! That tub was absolutely gross! And the stove was something out of a nightmare--the after photo was worth $1,000 alone!!
I think the defendant was ordered by officials to have her house cleaned, it wasn't because of the gas leak but because her house was unsanitary. The fact that she kept repeating, 'they weren't hired to clean that', what exactly were they hired to do, just open the windows to the let the gas out? They did an immaculate job so why exactly is she refusing to pay them? She lived in total and utter squalor and should be grateful she found a company willing to clean her place for so little...
Lmao right. My dryer is broken so my laundry has been piling up (never had to air dry clothes before and got lazy) but I'm looking at my overflowing hamper now like ....yeah let's go clean that 😂
I have never been so angry and disgusted with a defendant!!! She was certainly a hoarder, and lived in a filthy, disgusting, repulsive mess who obviously NEVER cleaned the place in the 27 years she lived there. The smells alone would have been overwhelming. I can't believe those poor cleaning people had to endure that, or chose to endure and clean. They should have been paid $5k for that! What a disgusting, lying old woman.
I understand what you mean but to me there’s a difference in your fridge leaking out and you just leave the spoiled food on the floor vrs not being able to get rid of things/objects. Some people just dont clean. She needs assistance or to live in an assistance home.
I don't feel bad for her at all. Not every person with a mental illness tries to screw over the people there to help them. She also lied to the cleaners at the beginning when she said her home wasn't too bad, just maybe the floors. She tried to get her place cleaned without having to pay the people who had to clean up that disgusting mess. That's wrong.
The plaintiff and her team worked so hard to help the defendant and she was ungrateful, that makes me mad. They did all that work on that nasty house and the defendant acts like she doesn't even appreciate it!
The type of clean out had to be done by HAZMAT! Absolutely insane that the Defendant cheaped out and hired a regular house cleaning crew. Gas leak or no gas leak, that place was still hazardous. And they should have walked out as soon as they arrived. They could have gotten seriously ill. People that clean those kinds of messes have to take serious precautions and they need to be specially trained to do so. NEVER clean standing water like that which was from the bathtub or broken pipes. It is a petri dish for Staph and other really hazardous bacteria.
The cleaning company should get a lot of business after this case. They did a phenomenal job cleaning up the defendant s home.

If she is having health problems it’s because she is living In disgusting conditions. She keeps trying to change the fact that she is living that way.
Wow! They need to start charging WAY more.
I was eating while I was watching this case and when I saw those pictures, I almost threw up. The defendant’s house was absolutely disgusting. The plaintiff’s employees are miracle workers. They deserve way more than $665.
She shouldn’t be living alone if that was a result of her living alone! She should be in a group home
I agree. She obviously is not capable of taking care of herself
After some episodes of Hoarders, that is the most disgusting house I think I have ever seen. The defendant should be completely ashamed to even show her face in court.
I'm believing something mentally was wrong with the woman. Like a bad case of Hoarders in some form. This is gross
Yuck!!!!
Straight up episode of Hoarders. I hope her family gets her help.
I hope her company is thriving. Well done ma'am
Disgusting. How can someone live in that situation?
Such deplorable conditions! That job should have cost at least $1000.Defendant should really be feeling embarrassed
She needed it clean to make it seem as if she lived there, so that way she could be involved in the gas leak law suit, there’s no way she was living in that house! If she was really living in that house I don’t know what to say! I’m at a loss of words.
I think she should be in a care home, she is not fit to look after herself and is loosing it.
She got an AMAZING DEAL FOR $665.. That's about $2,000-$5,000 job.
I'm glad the judge saw right through her BS. There's no way a gas leak would cause any of that.😂
There's no way I would have taken that job
What a disgrace. That owner should be ashamed of herself. I’m so happy the cleaning company was paid.
Personally I would have exited that mess as soon as I got there! That tub was absolutely gross! And the stove was something out of a nightmare--the after photo was worth $1,000 alone!!
“What’s happening in the bathroom”
“Everything” 😂😂😂
Kudos to her kids for sticking it out and cleaning it up ANYWAY bc a lesser person woulda left instantly.... wow
SHE LYING SHE IS A HOARDER. I DONE SEEN TOO MANY HOARDERS EPISODES TO KNOW SHE HAD TO CLEAN THAT NASTY ASS HOUSE UP BEFORE SHE GET FINED. 😂
This lady is a hoarder. She is under denial about the state of her property. She got a bargain and that cleaning company went above and beyond.
but hey, at least we got the whole case in this one. harvey must have gotten fired from doing editing!!!
Yeah, that lady is not right… She has a sickness. It’s a shame, but she still should pay them people, but she needs help.
Yep. All the motivation I need to deep clean my fridge ✌️ Fabulouso and bleach calling my name.
I KINDA feel bad for the old lady. Hoarding is a horrific mental illness.
I understand what you mean but to me there’s a difference in your fridge leaking out and you just leave the spoiled food on the floor vrs not being able to get rid of things/objects. Some people just dont clean. She needs assistance or to live in an assistance home.
Yea this one breaks my heart she kept bashing her it’s obvious she is a hoarder 😢 pray for her and her mental after this case
@@DoggSaucebashing? I disagree with that. 700 dollars is hardly enough for that filthy house. And she didn't even want to pay that. Disgusting.
Right, she was just nasty period.😂
If I can go off-topic for a second: that "after" picture... man, these people do an amazing job!
The plaintiff and her team worked so hard to help the defendant and she was ungrateful, that makes me mad. They did all that work on that nasty house and the defendant acts like she doesn't even appreciate it!
She should have hired hazmat. She’s lucky they intervened. She wants windows washed but not dishes??? 😂😂
She was on notice by the city to get that house cleaned up and thought she could do it at a discount. Nothing to do with a Gas leak.
I would’ve told the lady no, get someone else to do it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The type of clean out had to be done by HAZMAT!
