- Опубліковано 21 бер 2011
- Based on the US version, this is Australia's own Million Dollar Drop.
Couples start the game with $1 Million in real cash, but how much can they keep after 8 multiple choice questions?
Each answer is represented by a drop. Put money on the wrong answer, and it drops, never to be seen again.
Always keeping 1 drop clear, they can spread their money on the drops to try survive the game.
Hosted by Eddie McGuire. Aired on Channel 9 on Tuesday, 22/3/2011

The British version is the original version as it was produced by UK Endemol and sold to all other countries making them millions.
lmao 13 is my lucky number, thats hilarious considering 13 is the most unluckiest number in history!
Man, I wish there was a video on UA-cam with this timer music.
I'm from Britain and I'm comparing the international versions of the programme. When I saw the first question I facepalmed myself.
DJOKOVIC IS KNOWN AS THE JOKER? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!
The australian version is cool ! Hello from France ! In France, we can "only" win 250 000 $ (€), but it is every day, 5 days per week.
congrats you know the 18 letter in the alphabet *round of applause please*.
Most likely a warm-up question just to get the contestants used to the mechanics of the game and how long it takes to load the million dollars into the bin.
Lol

@alec83p Well that I knew when I saw a clip of that version.
Is it true that except for America and Australia, all international versions of the Money Drop have a set similar to the British version?
@flurodayze 50 Euro notes and each package is 25000 Euro worth
@flurodayze
Probably they want their contestant fitter

This look similar to American version, but suck they have to answer eight questions, which US got seven questions.

@Snipa47Fan and awesome
Why in $20 notes?
Because the U.S. and the UK version use 20's, I would guess
lachlan duggan Actually, the UK version uses £50 notes. To be quite honest, it's better IMHO to use bundles of 50's as opposed to 20's. The main reason being that the original British version has 40 bundles of £25,000 (each bundle consists of 500 £50 notes), while the American and Australian versions both have 50 bundles of $20,000 (each bundle consists of 1,000 $20 notes). Also, and I'm probably not the only one that thinks this, but with the color of the Australian $20 banknote, they make the bundles look like bricks.
I wish they'd used the theme of the original UK version, the US theme looks so inferior.
