Clay were always there for everyone, but himself. He always tried to save and help everyone, even tho doing this was leading him to depression, anxiety and other problems to his mental health. Clay were constantly trying to hold on, but, as we can see by the seasons, he gets more and more insane every episode. Until he can’t hold on anymore, and he starts to explode. He already lost the girl he loved and a great friend of his. And now, with although all this is happening, he did lost his very own brother too. Just, damn.
i think ive watched this like a million times and cried every time 13 reasons why is a really really good show and the story behind it is so sad and clay doesn't deserve to go through all of the things he went through

With the case closed, Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette ofc) and the rest of the ensemble involved in the murder must repress their underlying guilt while simultaneously attempting to enjoy their senior year of high school.
The truth is I'm really disappointed about the fourth season. I mean, the story ended at third season, at least to me. I just don't understand why they think that it is better idea to make the next season. In my opinion, some stories should have no "end point". You can be disagree with me, but it's only my opinion. I liked season 3, as previous ones. But this one makes me feel like it was filmed just because of money
