Spot on, feels like there just isn't much room left to evolve in the base game. i would *maybe* put the Pyramids in their own tier below the Lighthouse but that's nitpicking
Hey, congrats on mindsports olympiad win. I qualified for the finals this year!
Solution: Give lighthouse an extra turn power as well. (pyramids can stay terrible so in every pyramids game you know who is the designated 3 wonder builder)

@@BoardInTheHouseBGAplayer If you would keep the 4 VP AND an extra turn its a pretty good one. If you reduce the points by 3 its mostly an expensive extra turn, but an extra turn is still better than any non-extra turn wonder. 2 VP less for wildcard browwn resource is pretty great. Also, im not sure about pyraeus being the second best wonder. The wildcard grey is good, but you want to save your extra turn wonders for the final age, while you want the extra gray online ASAP.
@anonvideo738 HG is second best wonder then? We talking base game? Understand the sentiment to save your wonders to late game if we are adding expansions. If just base game, I feel Piraeus is a great Wonder to build in the base game in age 1 if you are first player. Or early age 2 if second player.
@@BoardInTheHouseBGAplayer I prefer to save my extra turn wonders for the last age if possible, science and military victories are the most dangerous and in age 3 you have 3 shield military and the final science symbols. Although age 2 to get a set/fourth science symbol is good too. meanshile to get the most out of the free grey you want to get it in as soon as possible.
PS. An extra turn on lighthouse was a joke because an extra turn makes everything good. I rather see the extra turn wonders reduced in power and lighthouse only cost one papyrus
@@anonvideo738 I can tell you speak with experience. Those age 3 military and science losses because you had no ET's going into age 3 are not fun.
if you have great lighthouse and manage to get caravan you destroy statue of zeus
Statue of Zeus is the more dangerous of the 2 resource destroyers*, but due to all the workarounds**, I feel like it is almost as weak as the great lighthouse sometimes.
*Circus Maximus just construct Piraeus, built customs house, or don't go a science strategy
**SoZeus just grab 2 brown resources of all the yellows you failed to get, get Caravanisery, or don't go a points strategy
