- In this weeks episode - I do the unthinkable. I sell our paid off 2021 KTM SX 50 Mini and buy Alex a brand new 2022 Honda CRF 50 F. It leads me into a discussion on the four reasons that we think the Honda 50 is a better bike than the KTM SX 50 and made us do something so crazy. Also what you should consider before buying your kid a dirt bike. I mean - the KTM is obviously the better bike - right? So why am I selling it? Well you will have to watch the video to find out!
My husband, John, just recently re-enlisted in the military. 13 years ago, when we first were married John was in the Marines stationed in Camp Lejeune. Right on! I hope you guys have fun! I hope you both have a blast with dirt biking together!! We are stationed in Hawaii right now and have been mesmerized by the ocean, but I think it's time for us to dust off the bikes and take on the jungle.
As a child i preferred trail riding.... now at 42i still prefer trail riding.... you can't go wrong buying the kid a crf she clearly loves it!!
Cool video and stoked ur youngin has a bike she’s more comfortable with. BUT for the love of god get some foot/ankle protection on, even just putting around a rock or root can destroy your foot. Have fun 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

awesome video! the crf fits her a ton better! Id get ride of the junk stock tires and get some nice dunlop mx53s they would do great on that little track you guys are on

@@theWiggyFamily if its really muddy the 33s would be nice but the 53s is a GREAT tired over all. I think the fronts for her 50 is 60/100 10 and the back is 70/100 10
@@theWiggyFamily the 33s are a really soft tire and the 53s are more firm the roots and stuff might eat up the 33s faster but luckily they are cheat for the little 50s haha

How is she handling shifting? Vs KTM?
And what audio/communication are you using?
Adjust the clutch on the KTM and it wouldn’t do that. You can make it where it will take off at 4-500 rpm and not 4000 to 4500 rpm
I didn’t film it but we did do that. Trust me I tried everything to make that bike work for my kid. The Honda and her pw before that were just better fits for her.
How did you get your kids audio and your audio while riding 😮 ?
I’m using the Rode Wireless GO II microphones. 👍
