- I was born and raised in a small town in Illinois. After living in several states for school and work, I moved to Tempe, Arizona in 1988 when I was hired to teach printmaking at Arizona State University. Like many artists, I was always drawing or making something as a child but had no plans to be an artist. That changed when I reached college and had to declare as an art major to take a photography course (which I never took!). I stayed in art and received a BA in Art from Northwestern University and an MFA in printmaking from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

I Like Your Work is dedicated to supporting artists, creating community and providing opportunities and resources. Our podcast interviews creative people from painters and artists to collectors and curators. People who are involved in a creative lifestyle and also in building community within the arts. I Like Your Work is hosted by artist and curator Erika b Hess.
We have expanded to include Studio Visit Artists and exhibitions. Studio Visit Artists are artists making great work that we want to share. You can see their work on the site and on our social media. We also partner with galleries and curators to curate shows both in gallery spaces and permanently on our site. All artists who apply are considered for future shows and to have their work shared on our social media.

What a wonderful studio. Unfortunately I cannot come over to have a nice cup of tea or coffee with you and have a look on your interesting art . Berlin is too far away!
Nice studio and work!!!
It would be nice to see videos of Kathryn actually working in her studio.
