My favorite design i saw done for a leafeon fix was giving its body the color of shiny eevee, darkening its brown feet and giving it more of an abomasnow wintery green for its leaves. Similar to whats here but pushed a bit more noticible
I I actually love Emolgas normal shiny :( It reminds me of pastels and the commonly brown outlines to fit the aesthetic! Also it looks like a Sanrio character and I think that's beautiful
If they can change Charizard’s shiny completely they can do it again And they better, as much as I like Charizard’s current shiny I would’ve had no objections to the purple, give the shiny changes to pokemon who *need* them

I’m colorblind so distinguishing shinies from regular Pokémon can be very difficult for me sometimes so i enjoy you changing some of these to make them more easily recognizable.
Shiny Espeon is severely underrated. Unlike other green shinies, the shade of green that goes with it fits very well and is actually pleasing to the eye
Should have done a blue eyed pikachu, I’ve always wanted one since that episode in the anime. It would have also been subtle enough to preserve the pikachuness.
I think some of these shinies are fine, just the color scheme isn't really your preference. Like the Lickitung and Heracross are fine to me because you can actually tell it's a shiny. THAT is what's important to me, is if you can tell it's shiny. Like Gengar, Garchomp, and Pikachu, you can barely tell it's shiny.
As someone who’s favorite Pokémon is Kommo-o, and is an absolute sucker for a black and navy blue color schemes, your fix for Kommo-o’s shiny was absolutely stunning. God, if only that were the actual shiny in-game.

LMAO, while watching this, my youtube glitched and the video progress bar started showing as the golden yellow color used for ads, that's never happened to me before, but fits so perfectly with this.
I feel like a lot of these alternate shinies are too drastic. I'm not advocating for shiny Garchomp or anything, but not everything needs to be a shiny Bruxish or Guzzlord, especially for Pokémon with simpler designs. I feel like often what looks cool isn't always what feels most natural given the Pokémon and its original colors. Remember, a shiny form is meant to be an alternate coloration of the same Pokémon, not either the coloration you think would look good and wish the original had nor just a selection of your favorite colors that you would want to put on any given Pokémon. There are a couple of stand-out ones, but the vast majority of shinies are interesting and varied while not giving an impression too far away from that of the original design, even if the colors themselves aren't very similar. A lot of people don't give this much thought, so they always pick the black shinies or whatever and reject the pink or off-hue ones. But in reality, it's not always so simple to design a shiny, especially if you consider that a Pokémon can only actually have one. Usually Ron is pretty good at keeping with what I said before, but a loose congregation like a stream chat is not likely to make complex decisions with much consideration for these things, so we end up with more of the generic "cool-looking color scheme" shiny designs as are common in this video.
In my opinion, I think people mostly only care if a shiny looks different from the original, but I care about if it looks cool and fits the Pokémon, not just if it’s black, red, or white
@@mco7478 Honestly yea. I'd say if people want a variant heracross shiny to look at like actual stag beetle breeds, cause you can get some cool ones like the laprima genus. Browns, reds and sometimes greens are common colours, tbh. Pink seems like they were going for a similar to the red, but more of a pop-out colour, but the shade just doesn't work for the design. A darker pink would've probably been much better tbh.

If every Pokémon's shiny version was a white or black color variant it would get dull very quickly. There would be no "better" shiny because they all would look the same. But its whatever, you like what you like lol
I’m honestly a fan of the more out there and silly looking shiny colors. I think the bright greens and other crazy colors are fun to find and make shinies seem like a fun spectacle
I really like how the fixed Espeon Shiny makes it look more like the beta design (when Espeon and Umbreon's colors were swapped) It also seems like the original Regice shiny took the term "shiny" too literally (it's Regice with shinier ice)
Plus, it fits because sometimes gold represents the psychic type(Sabrina’s badge in japanese is called the gold badge, also gold gummis are used to power up psychic types in the mystery dungeon games).
I personally love Komo-oh's shiny because I think pink and yellow look good together (lemonade and pink lemonade), but that navy looking one is pretty sweet as well
The original shiny Blaziken is rly good, the slighty darker tone makes a really big difference, not all shines need a complete different colour, Togekiss looks super nice too and more clean than the original. Cool idea though, the Garchomp one was sick.
I'll give my opinions on these since ik I'm early. Espeon:Blue fits it the best though the gold one most Garchomp: Red has the most drastic change so I see that as the best one Gengar:My personal least favorite is green but the other 2 are really good and I can't really pick. Regice:White probably fits the most and it's the one that attracted my attention. Leafeon:My personal favorite was the pink one since it contrasts well with the body colour in my opinion Blaziken:The one with most of it being yellow gave me the best reaction Pikachu:The white one Is my personal favorite, the blue one was just, weird and the red one didn't really mesh well with the background ok I'm bored.
I've always thought that Pokemon should have went with an RNG route for shinies. Like it would be cool for Pokemon to have random mutations of shiny strains with different chances/percentages of color traits based off their regions, battle experience, happiness, etc. That way you could find endless amount of combinations of Shiny colors for each Pokemon.
It's so interesting to see how many people come up with similar color combinations for specific shiny recolors - I basically used the exact same color schemes for Gengar, Xatu and Electivire when I did my palette fixes two years ago
I actually like the green Espeon it’s a drastic change compared to the rest. I’ve always thought garchomps shiny was a pink one. Gengar should be a ghostly white. Yellow Regice should have won.

Buzzwole's Green turn white while the rest turn blue. Blacephalon pink turns red and blue turns purple. The head,gmfeet and hands remain white. Heatran gets Shiny Heatmor's colors but with blue eyes. Regidrago turns blood red, whike it's arms and toes turn bone white. Blaziken gets the same treatment as Torchic. Glacier gets the the colors swapped. . Marshadow gets blue eyes. Regieleki turns electric blue. Calyrex's blue turn rose pink. Greedent's tan turn a red/orange Turning shinies feels like a cop out.
2:32 Sometimes I edit pokemon pictures for fun to make the shinies look better too, but it is kind of scary how the 2nd fix is almost EXACTLY how I remade leafeon. I just made the blue brighter and the eyes blue too.
I actually really like the pink and yellow shinies. Sneasel's shiny is one of my favorites. and Jangmo-o too. Although I do think the yellows on both crobat and Komo-o could be a more aesthetically pleasing yellow. I also like perserker's shiny and heracross's shiny. I just really like a lot of the pink shinies lol. but the fixes did look pretty awesome. Especially Empoleon. If that were its shiny, it would be one of my favorite shinies.

I think some of these shinies are fine, just the color scheme isn't really your preference. Like the Lickitung and Heracross are fine to me because you can actually tell it's a shiny. THAT is what's important to me, is if you can tell it's shiny. Like Gengar, Garchomp, and Pikachu, you can barely tell it's shiny.
yellow n pink can be a great combo, just not when the yellow is so green or dirty

I feel like a lot of these alternate shinies are too drastic. I'm not advocating for shiny Garchomp or anything, but not everything needs to be a shiny Bruxish or Guzzlord, especially for Pokémon with simpler designs. I feel like often what looks cool isn't always what feels most natural given the Pokémon and its original colors. Remember, a shiny form is meant to be an alternate coloration of the same Pokémon, not either the coloration you think would look good and wish the original had nor just a selection of your favorite colors that you would want to put on any given Pokémon. There are a couple of stand-out ones, but the vast majority of shinies are interesting and varied while not giving an impression too far away from that of the original design, even if the colors themselves aren't very similar.
A lot of people don't give this much thought, so they always pick the black shinies or whatever and reject the pink or off-hue ones. But in reality, it's not always so simple to design a shiny, especially if you consider that a Pokémon can only actually have one. Usually Ron is pretty good at keeping with what I said before, but a loose congregation like a stream chat is not likely to make complex decisions with much consideration for these things, so we end up with more of the generic "cool-looking color scheme" shiny designs as are common in this video.
I think the best example for this is heracross...yeah it's pink, but I really like this shiny form since it's different from all the other shinies
In my opinion, I think people mostly only care if a shiny looks different from the original, but I care about if it looks cool and fits the Pokémon, not just if it’s black, red, or white
@@mco7478 Honestly yea. I'd say if people want a variant heracross shiny to look at like actual stag beetle breeds, cause you can get some cool ones like the laprima genus. Browns, reds and sometimes greens are common colours, tbh. Pink seems like they were going for a similar to the red, but more of a pop-out colour, but the shade just doesn't work for the design. A darker pink would've probably been much better tbh.

Yeah, I honestly like jangmo-o and hakamo-o, just not kommo-o as I think the pink is just a little too dark, but it still isn't the worst shiny out there.

If every Pokémon's shiny version was a white or black color variant it would get dull very quickly. There would be no "better" shiny because they all would look the same. But its whatever, you like what you like lol
I’m honestly a fan of the more out there and silly looking shiny colors. I think the bright greens and other crazy colors are fun to find and make shinies seem like a fun spectacle

I really like how the fixed Espeon Shiny makes it look more like the beta design (when Espeon and Umbreon's colors were swapped)

With Flareon, I would have wished the “hair“ would have been dark blue with lighter blue or even yellowish body.

The original shiny Blaziken is rly good, the slighty darker tone makes a really big difference, not all shines need a complete different colour, Togekiss looks super nice too and more clean than the original. Cool idea though, the Garchomp one was sick.

Also, cinderace’s shiny was criminally underrated. The darker colors contrast the white accents in a way that I love.
I feel that a dull yellow would be great for Espeon, almost in reference to it's beta design colour.
I'll give my opinions on these since ik I'm early.
Espeon:Blue fits it the best though the gold one most
Garchomp: Red has the most drastic change so I see that as the best one
Gengar:My personal least favorite is green but the other 2 are really good and I can't really pick.
Regice:White probably fits the most and it's the one that attracted my attention.
Leafeon:My personal favorite was the pink one since it contrasts well with the body colour in my opinion
Blaziken:The one with most of it being yellow gave me the best reaction
Pikachu:The white one Is my personal favorite, the blue one was just, weird and the red one didn't really mesh well with the background

I've always thought that Pokemon should have went with an RNG route for shinies. Like it would be cool for Pokemon to have random mutations of shiny strains with different chances/percentages of color traits based off their regions, battle experience, happiness, etc. That way you could find endless amount of combinations of Shiny colors for each Pokemon.

It's so interesting to see how many people come up with similar color combinations for specific shiny recolors - I basically used the exact same color schemes for Gengar, Xatu and Electivire when I did my palette fixes two years ago
I actually like the green Espeon it’s a drastic change compared to the rest. I’ve always thought garchomps shiny was a pink one. Gengar should be a ghostly white. Yellow Regice should have won.
A bright purple shiny color for Jolteon would been perfect too to reference purple lightning.

Blacephalon pink turns red and blue turns purple. The head,gmfeet and hands remain white.
Heatran gets Shiny Heatmor's colors but with blue eyes.
Regidrago turns blood red, whike it's arms and toes turn bone white.
Blaziken gets the same treatment as Torchic.
Glacier gets the the colors swapped.

Marshadow gets blue eyes.
Regieleki turns electric blue.
Calyrex's blue turn rose pink.
Greedent's tan turn a red/orange

Sometimes I edit pokemon pictures for fun to make the shinies look better too, but it is kind of scary how the 2nd fix is almost EXACTLY how I remade leafeon. I just made the blue brighter and the eyes blue too.

I actually really like the pink and yellow shinies. Sneasel's shiny is one of my favorites. and Jangmo-o too. Although I do think the yellows on both crobat and Komo-o could be a more aesthetically pleasing yellow. I also like perserker's shiny and heracross's shiny. I just really like a lot of the pink shinies lol. but the fixes did look pretty awesome. Especially Empoleon. If that were its shiny, it would be one of my favorite shinies.
