    What width and thickness of nickel strip are you using on that nw 21700 pack? Those look pretty beefy nice dude

      @KiloVoltBikes  3 роки тому +1

      Each series connection has 11 strips of 10mm x 0.2mm nickel ⚡️ it’s serious over kill as we are only pairing it to the mini sabvoton 72v 45A but always nice to have the extra amp handling even if it’s not used 🙏

    Sorry not to sure if this might be or if it is off topic but i got a question.
    My bike as the one your modifying won’t go past 30mph not to sure if I’ve pressed something and the system accepted it as a code if some sort because it is locked there and it used to go 60 now it’s half that like on a safety type mode for kids.
    Can you help me brother, I’d really appreciate it any info on the matter would be perfect!

    Someone gave me a Citycoco fat tire scooter and I would like to have it service , but no one does that work here where I live. The scooter runs, but it quits working after 15 minutes. I unplugged all the cords and now I want to put it back together and I don’t know how.
    Any recommendations?
    Do you have any idea of what needs to be replaced?
    Thanks in advance!

    Will these 60v hub motors take 72v long term?

    • @KiloVoltBikes
      @KiloVoltBikes  2 роки тому +1

      Yes they will - Motors have a KV which is basically a point at which any extra power will be converted into heat - this motor is well within its KV still as the motor doesnt get hot and the rpm increased from 60v .
      If there was no increase in RPM and the motor started getting warm then we'd have a problem

      So it will perform with more torque...My 60v 12ah....fully charged stops suddenly..then after powering it off for a minute and power's back on fully charged again....Only go's of under a load...with me riding in it..

    Q for you mate, I have a 72v E-Scooter battery that shows full charge on fase tester, and only works when power cable is connected. Theres 2 controllers, one front, one back.. spaghetti junction the wiring is. The power cables coming from controllers are very rigid, and it only runs when charger cable is connected. Can you help, im absolutely banjoed on this!! Dont know if battery is knackered, or both controllers are kaput. When charger is connected, it almost immediately switches lights to charged, but wont switch on, on its own power...... only with power cord. Agggggggggghhhhhh 🥴

    • @KiloVoltBikes

Or is dismantling the battery the only way forward 🤔 Ive been trying to fool the BMS by leaving lights on, and the charger works then. But can't tell if its charging battery, or just powering lights🙃 Is there a way i can check this. Big thanks for taking the time to read this 👍
