Connected well? Probably literally.... I think they would figure out some cybernetic way to link minds because Data would almost kill to see what it is like to be human and 7 would love to experience his logical thought.
I think if Seven was station on the Enterprise she would be the key to help DATA achieve his goal to become more human. I think she would respect Capt Picard more she did with Janeway.
Picard was less emotional than Janeway, so yeah, I see Seven following his commands with greater ease. plus, he's got that bald head that demands respect!
All of these 'best 7of9 moments' videos are brilliant! They really show the acting abilities of Jeri Ryan and I love how the writers gave Seven such a dry sense of humor! Thanks for these. I spent a happy hour reliving favourite Voyager moments.
Definitely, but then again you could say that with Q, Picard and Data in TNG...it’s always the characters trying to explore humanity that are fascinating us (if done and written right of course). It’s like watching yourself looking in the mirror, suddenly we see ourselves outside of the box, from different viewpoints...the quest of becoming more „human“ is perhaps the one thing we all feel the most compassionate with....and Picardo and Ryan did an extraordinary job with it....👍

I thought Jeri Ryan played Seven to perfection... as she show progressed, the character grew and learned, and Ms. Ryan adapted in subtle and effective ways. But through it all, I couldn't help but think that as the result of "Borg Implants" that when she went incognito on away missions, Seven could assume the undercover identity "36 of D". Ms. Ryan also showed up as one of Gibbss wives on NCIS, which was also pretty cool.
Love 7 of 9 she is a fantastic character I have seen Jeri Ryan in other things talented lady she is also such a nice person she answers her fans I have had replies to comments on Facebook and Twitter
Aaaaaahahahahahaha!!!!I'm rollin' with gut-bustin' laughter!!! Jerry absolutely Nailed These scenes!!!! And, the ones where the Doctor placed his "programming" into 7of9!.............Aaaaaahahahaha.....the cheesecake scene where she shows there is no poison,....orders another piece for the Ambassador......AND TAKES THE NEW ONE!!!!!!! lmao !!! Priceless.
Her physical acting, in this episode, hit me on a personal note. She reminded me of my aunt. The character of the Doctor was nothing like my aunt. Ryan bears no resemblance to my aunt. Yet Ryan, playing the Doctor, (somehow) recreated the personality and physical gestures of my aunt.
Seven of nine was my favorite from Voyager aside from her stunning beauty and near perfect fizek she was the most interesting character indealing with her transformation from borg drone to reclaim her individuality and humanity again she explores alot of the positive and negative sides of human individuality.
I know it's not quite the same as when she was on Voyager, but as of October, 2014 - Jeri Ryan is BACK as Seven of Nine !!!! Jeri Ryan reprises her role as Seven of Nine in the new DELTA RISING story arc in STAR TREK ONLINE. Also in DELTA RISING, Tim Russ will reprise his role as Admiral Tuvok and will be joined by Garrett Wang as Captain Harry Kim, commanding officer of the U.S.S. Rhode Island, with Robert Picardo returning as The Doctor, and Ethan Phillips as Neelix So, how AWESOME is that? A lot of the old crew back together again for more Star Trek adventure! Now if we can just get that 3rd Star Trek movie out of JJ Abrams (and 7 or 8 more to follow)
Seeing her play the doctor shows her great her Seven of Nine was. People don't realize how good an actor is unless they see them doing different roles. That's why I love "body switching" plot points.
Dang, I'd forgotten some of the banter between Doc and Seven... Seven: "I believe your ego has received enough stroking for one day" ... later on... Doc: "I wasn't aware you had a 'personal life'"
this was edited together very well. good job. thanks for the post up :) although i never did understand why the powers that be threw seven and chakotay together, with no build up, what so ever, the entire series. it was silly.
Good clips. But never did buy the last-minute romance between her & Chakotay. Felt so very forced. Chakotay should've ended up with Janeway, they were a much better fit... two natural leaders.
I think there are rules about direct superiors engaging in relationships with their subordinate officers. Not that Janeway was ever one for following rules properly....
Apparently it only happened because Robert Beltran, the actor of Chakote, wanted to have his own love interest, and Janeway was out of the question. So with Seven of Nine being the only unclaimed female on Voyager, they put in a last minute romance plot. But I don't buy it either. To me, she belongs with the Doctor.
+Arthus850 The Doctor didnt feel like a good fit either, despite the fact that he wanted it to happen so bad. I guess the worst part of all was the corny 'Seven dies, and then Chakotay dies of a broken heart' alternate timeline that Janeway prevented. Did ANYONE buy into that mess? 0_o
+cloakster I sort of agree and disagree. If you read the relaunch novels that have been coming out since 2003 it sort of seems as though Seven Of Nine falls for a few people that she deems strong. In the current one that i'm reading The Endless Tide she falls for an admiral. It appears as though she is attracted to very strong individuals with good leadership skills.
In my opinion, the best episode of Voyager was "Body & Soul", and Jeri Ryan made it so. She nailed the doctors mannerisms perfectly; I don't know if she got an award for her acting in this episode, but she should have!
Xan Beerboy Oh I don't doubt that for a second. But 7 of 9 really became much more than that. Be it clever writing and a rather skilled actress or what have you. 7 of 9 took on a life far beyond Troy. I might even go so far as to say, took on more of a life than most of the memorable characters from any Star Trek series. George Takei like levels. Maybe even Data
My favorite is in one of Harry Kim's dream where Seven traps Kim in a Jeffery's tube, where she begins to strip Kim's clothes and follows with the quote "Resistance is futile"
Captain Janeway: "Sorry but I like my plan better." 😂 Seven of Nine was near perfect: looks, attitude, backstory and her overall interaction with those around her. I miss this show. Great video.
I've just finished watching Voyager for the first time and I cannot understand this either. Think of what she could have been with say Angeline Jolie's opportunities.
The show would've been endlessly better if she'd worn a Starfleet uniform the whole time. The bullshit about her clothes being specially designed was just an excuse to ruin a talented actress by making her eye candy.
+Liam Flynn At least they used the character. Nothing's worse than when eye candy is there to be looked at, and nothing else, like Deanna Troi in TNG. That woman was gorgeous, but dear godzilla, she was useless. Us guys like looking at pretty women, but it's no fun if they never do anything. You're spot on about her outfits, though. Even space fanboys can only suspend their disbelief so much, because there is NO WAY a form-fitting body suit like that, especially on a woman with such perfect proportions, would be deemed appropriate attire for a work environment
And you'll be one of the very few people complaining about Jeri Ryan providing some much needed eye candy to Voyager. She completely rocked the catsuit. It was really hard to believe that 7 of 9 is what you ended up with when all that Borg junk was scraped off of her. Jeri is a beautiful woman, but that Borg makeup sure was super effective at making even the most attractive person look...alien.
7, the face that launcher a thousand photon torpedoes. she was a fascinating character that just happened to melt my screen week after week. I could watch this on a loop
Jeri Ryan's acting in 'Body and Soul' was superb. She nailed Robert Picardo's speech and mannerisms.
Jeri Ryan should have won an Emmy for her ability to impersonate another actor's character perfectly.
Robert Picardo said he filmed all the scenes first so Jeri Ryan could copy them directly.

I didn't realize that it was almost a whole episode where the doctor is occupying seven's body. Jeri did an amazing job imitating Robert Picardo.
This was the only series that all 5 of us at home liked watching. It was a real family-bonder, saturday evening watching Star Trek Voyager.
+Peter Timowreef Actually, 4 of us liked it. My mother was just happy everybody was together without any fighting.
"Are you drunk?"
"It wasn't my fault, 7's unique physiology is...unique! It doesn't react well to synthehol"
2:45 that's the same reaction I have to cheesecake.
Now I want Cheesecake. Dammit.
With cherry sauce on top! Real cherries, too. I know a top-notch Italian restaurant that serves it.
I guess you could call the replicator a "Cheesecake Factory"
I always loved this character, but I also felt this really shows off Jeri Ryan's great acting ability. She can be quite funny as well. Love her.
Any scene with Seven... Is amazing. No questions asked.
Aaaaaahahahahahaha!!!!I'm rollin' with gut-bustin' laughter!!! Jerry absolutely Nailed These scenes!!!! And, the ones where the Doctor placed his "programming" into 7of9!.............Aaaaaahahahaha.....the cheesecake scene where she shows there is no poison,....orders another piece for the Ambassador......AND TAKES THE NEW ONE!!!!!!! lmao !!! Priceless.
The antidote was in the 2nd piece.
She should have won an award for this dual role. Nailed it!
Seven had the best hair in season 7. She just got better with every season and episode. Amazing actor. She defiantly kept me watching.
Brilliantly funny as possessed by the Doctor.
I was a Star Trek fan from the first time I viewed one of the shows in 1968.
It was very good then and went on to become better as time passed.
Seven of nine was my favorite from Voyager aside from her stunning beauty and near perfect fizek she was the most interesting character indealing with her transformation from borg drone to reclaim her individuality and humanity again she explores alot of the positive and negative sides of human individuality.
seven is the reason to watch she is awesome and has been my fav for years
I know it's not quite the same as when she was on Voyager, but as of October, 2014 - Jeri Ryan is BACK as Seven of Nine !!!! Rhode Island, with Robert Picardo returning as The Doctor, and Ethan Phillips as Neelix
So, how AWESOME is that? A lot of the old crew back together again for more Star Trek adventure! Now if we can just get that 3rd Star Trek movie out of JJ Abrams (and 7 or 8 more to follow)
Played it. Really good story arc 😊😊😊😊😊😊
GOOD JOB!! Perfectly edited AND great video quality!
DS9 and Voyager are still the best Star Trek Spin-offs of all times. 🖖
OMG the bit with the cheesecake! ROFL!!! :P
It's cheesecake!!
Seeing her play the doctor shows her great her Seven of Nine was. People don't realize how good an actor is unless they see them doing different roles. That's why I love "body switching" plot points.
the look on Seven's face at 1:24 gave me 6 pack abs! i laughed so hard!!!
Especially the cheesecake scene!
Who else is here after the new Star Trek: Picard trailer? 7 OF 9 IS BACK.
Yep.... Seeing her in the new Picard trailers brought me here.
Only seen the first 2 so far & there's no 7 yet. Only a very old horrible looking Data.
Yep yep yep yep yep 😍 boobies
Nope, far as I'm concerned "Picard" is only fanfiction.
@@GreyhawkTheAngry Very bad fan fiction.
When she played the doc! That was just fantastic! I laughed the entire episode.
Hee-hee, those are some great clips. Seven of Nine did a great job of imitating the Doctor. (Love that Doctor!)
Jeri Ryan was the best part of Star Trek: Voyager.
Thanks for the video!!
Dang, I'd forgotten some of the banter between Doc and Seven...
Seven: "I believe your ego has received enough stroking for one day"
... later on...
Doc: "I wasn't aware you had a 'personal life'"
this was edited together very well. good job. thanks for the post up :) although i never did understand why the powers that be threw seven and chakotay together, with no build up, what so ever, the entire series. it was silly.
Rule one of having an emotionless character in Star Trek: Always have an episode where they have emotions (usually through a body swap)
Seven of Nine is like the final boss of throwing shade
Savage of Nine
LMAO @ 1:40
"Slice these vegetables transversely in five millimeter increments."
The singular most hilarious cooking instruction EVER.
+Nick R Are you high? nttawwt.
"A multi-spectral star chart would enhance this bulkhead."
"Or a painting."
"A painting of a star chart..." Lol :)
In my opinion, the best episode of Voyager was "Body & Soul", and Jeri Ryan made it so. She nailed the doctors mannerisms perfectly; I don't know if she got an award for her acting in this episode, but she should have!
@13:40 That reaction from Robert Picardo. utterly priceless.
without doubt the best written star trek series, 7 was a bonus.
My favorite moments was with her and Naomi Wildman.
subunit of Samanta Wildman
13.48 - Robert Picardo's face expressions are priceless! :)
7 of 9 was the only reason I actually watched this show for a while.
Excellent compilation. Thank you.
Brilliant juxtaposition of different scenes! Love the ep where doc takes over Seven. :)
Agreed... but technically that isn't her character but that of the Doctor so can it really be called one of 7 of 9's best moments?
Xan Beerboy But that mind! As sexy as the body it comes in.
Hobomedic1
Jeri is such a good actress. I do agree with Xan that she's not quite Data level, but 7 is awesome.
My ALL TIME SEVEN MOMENTS, was when she was the Doctor, it was HILARIOUS !
My favorite is in one of Harry Kim's dream where Seven traps Kim in a Jeffery's tube, where she begins to strip Kim's clothes and follows with the quote "Resistance is futile"
All this video really does is drive home just how much Roberto Picardo elevated Voyager.
Normally I wouldn't respond to something like this... but, really now, that was the stupidest thing I've seen all day. Congrats.
Whoa, small world or what?
... There is indeed a God... he was in a good mood one day, and created Jeri Ryan...
And also don't forget Jolene Blalock...
Cherry Ryan.
No there aint. Sorry, bud.
Galen Marek I agree
@@GalenMarekOfficial Yes there is. Sorry, dude.
Captain Janeway: "Sorry but I like my plan better." 😂
Seven of Nine was near perfect: looks, attitude, backstory and her overall interaction with those around her. I miss this show. Great video.
Her acting was perfect how did she not become a movie star with that look and acting skills.
I've just finished watching Voyager for the first time and I cannot understand this either. Think of what she could have been with say Angeline Jolie's opportunities.
Great editing and selections.
Seven of Nine is so goddamn adorkable X3!!!!
Jeri's performance as the incarnate of The Doctor...LOL I remember that episode, it was hilarious.
Starfleet uniforms are skintight as well, and even if officers let themselves be distracted on duty, Kirk proved that only adds to popularity.
That shit was tame compared to the dental floss they used to slap on TOS actresses. lol
there is NOTHING wrong with EYE CANDY!
It must have been hilarious to shoot those scenes and for the Doctor to see himself as his acting style.
Both physically attractive, and a very interesting character. Nice combo.
Who else is revisiting this after Picard?
lmao she really is a great actress too... that episode where the doctor takes control of her was a blast xP
Seven of Nine and the Doc were by far the best characters in Voyager.
Now I gotta rewatch that Seven of Doctor / Doctor of Nine episode again.
