Example just as much as your "she was not saying to pay for her gollege"... she was also not saying "you have to get married, even if you do decide to move out of the parents house".
So lets be realistic.
As long as she expected her parents to pay for her life, the parents will then have a big influence.

I agree but the mom seriously deserved it I mean, marry off your daughter, pretty much manipulation her using marriage so she doesn't persue her dreams and careers, she's only eighteen, and worst of all the mom says that her daughter is "ungrateful"!!!!
Honestly this kind of shit pisses me the fuck off. I remember this girl in my class used to go on about how her parents want her to marry a boy and it was set in stone and it didn't matter if she didn't like him and that school doesn't matter since she's going to have to get married. We used to all just roll our eyes when she started venting thinking "yeah, ok. Continue telling us your woe is me story" anyway they got married the day she turned 18. Middle of our senior year, and some of us who knew her was invited. I have never felt more guilty of the fact that I didn't take her venting seriously. Her goddamn birthday party was her wedding. It was the most awkward sad thing I witnessed. They weren't gypsie but very Christian. Christina if you're out there I hope you were able to leave and I'm sorry for not taking you seriously...
