Great stuff as usual sir! I agree that Polaris is amazing and also agree that the delve dice are not worth it in solo. I could see them being a decent investment in a 3+ gearloc game where Polaris ends up as more of a support role.
I've only had one game with Polaris so far, but she's potentially my favorite. I did go into Delve and believe that even getting to start the battle with bones is a major advantage. I went into the Tyrant with a full set of bones and was in 1 turn able to send out 3 orbs and do a major recall reducing the field to thr Tyrant alone. So much fun!
I really am enjoying all the new Gearlocs and the Unbreakable expansion. For me, I really enjoyed Figment because in true solo range is so powerful. I will need to pick up Polaris as she looks really fun to play.
Love playing Polaris! It is so true that pulling a Major Recall is so satisfying! I actually prefer placing the orbs in the battle mat instead of Polaris' mat, it way easier to track them, even if I play solo. Btw, have you played Cloudspire? It's a great game too, I'm sure you could make great content about it!
I have thought about orbs in the battle Mat. Totally agree that it is tough to track them. No never played cloudspire. Hoplo is my next chip theory venture so maybe after that :)
Also you are sleeping on delve dice, they are the FIRST thing I get, rerolling until I get the free training point or not, roughly 50% chance I think. Also you can start with a good amount of bones most of the time before starting the battle giving me easy and quick access to major recall.
Maybe I am. I just have a hard time investing 3 training points to get to dark delve. If I could train that one out of the gates I might be more willing to do so. What are you not training to get them?
I tried this one at my buddy's house after we already played a long game. Never felt so lost. Truly only for big brain people. Thanks again!
I think she is a gearloc that’s needs a handful of plays to really appreciate her. Butof all gearlocs might be the most AP prone.
Polaris is the one Gearloc in unbreakable that I haven’t played. Thanks for this breakdown! You are the best!
Thanks Chip! She is a must have for sure.

Thanks Brad. and if I were in a 4 gearloc game I don’t think I would pick her. Her recalls really become tough.

There is a vote for delve!!! Did you get any training points back from dark delve?
@@Neon_Gorilla I also love the delve dice and I rarely get training points from them.
I would love to know what other gearlocs you like or your rankings for the gearlocs.

Figment is awesome!!!! Polaris is a must have for sure.
Remember that magnetic push and pull can be used with any unit on the map, meaning other gearlocs aswell
True
Polaris looks super fun! I may have to pick her up next time I shop for TMB
Polaris is the ultimate gearloc in my mind, I might rank her as my #1 favorite gearloc
You had me at Magneto of Daelore!
:)

What happens if you hit one baddy with multiple orbs on a recall, does it do say 4 damage three times?
Yes!
And it feels oh so good when it happens!
