Love the video as always. I'm from Australia and we don't really do spray cheese i always thought it was weird. I now wonder if you could do it with a good (expensive) cheese rather than cheddar? Kinda like a spray fondue
Literally every other cooking youtuber: I'll show you how to make the best, the most extravagant Christmas dinner you've ever had. Glen: Let's make spray cheese. Me: Sure Glen !
Yup this is why spray cheese was made to put on you chicken in a biscuit. I just made it through covid with this combo it was the only thing I could taste for a few days.
Never had it with chips, just crackers like wheat thins or triscuits. Chips are the domain of salsa con queso for me. But I have eaten it straight from the can before. lol
I love the concept that you've never done this before and could have possibly failed. Please show us more videos like that! Heaven knows I've failed at a ton of dishes I have tried to create lol thanks Glen!
He definitely believes he failed on some of his soda dishes, maybe a few desserts too. That was pretty much the entirety of the KFC series too, getting close, but not quite there yet. It’s fun to watch.
OMG, Glen is a genius. I love spray cheese. And a lot of people apparently do because it's been super hard to get during the pandemic. It's shelf stable, so I guess folks were stocking up.
SHellDie well step one. Drive to the store. Step two purchase spray cheese. Step three set canister of cheese next to crackers and summer sausage. Sorry if my original post made it seem like I make it homemade.
We usually had it at holiday times or on Friday night when I was a kid. We would spray it on crackers only, commonly a Ritz cracker or a townhouse cracker, and then top it with a piece of pepperoni.
This is a no go with me. Personally I wouldn’t want to clean the canister. I’m glad you showed us how they do it, though. I always wondered. Good for you for figuring it out and succeeding first time out. You’re amazing!
So much of life is defined by the tension between "can" and "should"... and - once again - we are existentially challenged by Glen And Friends. What would Nietzsche say?
Here in Virginia we use spray cheese mainly on crackers, sandwiches, or just straight into our mouth! Never used it on chips before but I think I will take my can of cheese spray and some tortillas and give it a try. Thanks for the video!
I’ve used sodium citrate to make cheese soup without using flour or starch, but it does ruin the flavor of the cheese for me. That’s the problem with Easy Cheese: it tastes wrong.
This is the first food channel I subscribed to on UA-cam, and this is the reason why. Glen is not afraid to try things and share whether it is a success or a failure. I am sure if this didn't work, he would try again until he got it right.
My kids get spray cheese every year in their stockings with ritz crackers. My brother made some really delicious quick pickles for Christmas this year so we threw those on top, as well. Pure American joy.
A Christmas gift from Glen and Friends. Ah memories of sitting on the couch at Thanksgiving, hoarding the easy cheese and downing the whole box of Chicken in a biscuit crackers before the Turkey came out of the oven.
These moments when you can really see it's about the fun of it, and the fact that you don't agree on some things is the most genuine fun one can get in this platform.
Looks awesome, even I was a young lad after the bars closed the thing to do was get spray cheese and chicken in a biscuit crackers and go to town. You can get jalepeño cheese in the can as well. I don't touch the stuff anymore but now I may have to. Thanks for the memories lol
Spray cheese!!! Too funny! As a kid growing up in Oklahoma in the 70's, this was a treat!!! A normal snack was peanut butter and white corn syrup mixed together on saltine crackers. That's all we had. Sometimes it was just ketchup and crackers!
Couple of thoughts about the spray cheese: 1) Careful if you mix anything solid to add flavors - - the orifice on those canisters is pretty tiny and they clog easily. Then you have a pressurized container you can't depressurize or open. The Jalapeno juice would be a better idea to start with. 2) Since you're using emulsifiers, you don't have to stick with easy-melting cheeses. You can experiment with your favorite cheese flavors or combinations and they should still remain smooth and spray-able. Perhaps "not such a good cheddar" flavor will be surpassed by a different cheese or cheese blend! 3) Perhaps include a bit of wine in the blend next time for a "fondue" experience?
In western Canada we used to get a Kraft product called Squeez-a-Snack. Essentially a thicker than spray cheese product in a tube that you could squeeze onto pretty much anything that needed flavour.
In the UK we have 'Coloured Cheddar' which looks the same colour as the one your using. Red Lester cheese is also a coloured cheese and is virtually identical to cheddar but not as crumbly.
I think I'm with Julie on this one, I've never had spray cheese, I don't even think I've seen it in our supermarkets in Australia, great job though Glen 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘🦘
Oh goodie, another reason to buy another kitchen gadget! This has a lot of possibilities. We used spray cheese on Ritz crackers. Meunster or other mild cheese sprayed on crackers topped with olives.
I swear, you two are so adorable, and I love your dynamic. On the cooking though, I love your videos! I don't even remember how I came across them, but I'm all the way in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex! I have watched sooooo many of your videos, even going back... at least 3 years. >.>'
spray cheese is great if you need some shelf stable cheesy product that you can use bit by bit and not have to refrigerate after opening. I use a bit mixed into rice for a mac n cheese like side dish, as a spread, or as a topping wherever you would use shredded cheese :)
Jules is all ....Nope nope nope, all the nopes in nopelandia. I was always told " stop playing with your food" I still do though. Food can be fun. I could see me getting a frosting gun and loading it up with spray cheese. Great fun. Thank you both, this was great.
Genius! We can't get Easy Cheese over here in Quebec, (haven't ever seen it anywhere in Canada tbh) I load up on it going to the States. it's such a fun novelty food item to pull out as a gag with a cheese platter! My guests always get a kick out of it.
Thanks For watching Everyone! *We made Spray Cheese... But should we have made spray cheese?*
Love the video as always. I'm from Australia and we don't really do spray cheese i always thought it was weird. I now wonder if you could do it with a good (expensive) cheese rather than cheddar? Kinda like a spray fondue
If you like Cheez Whiz (which I do), then you should have no problem with spray cheese.
During this pandemic, I say why not? We gotta have some fun somehow!
Now we need you to show a video of cleaning the ISI canister. That will be the definitive answer of whether we SHOULD make spray cheese.
Usually with crackers for me ritz or whatever
Literally every other cooking youtuber: I'll show you how to make the best, the most extravagant Christmas dinner you've ever had.
Glen: Let's make spray cheese.
Me: Sure Glen !
“You can just sit on the couch and spray the cheese.”
Glenn reached peak spray cheese quickly.
Indeed. The cheese is strong in this one.
And very quickly our Canadian neighbors learn the ‘why’ behind spray cheese’s popularity
The little bounce when he eats the chip with cheese is priceless. You can just read his mind "I did it! It worked!"
No one does joy quite like Glen! This was so much fun to watch.
It should be illegal to be this charismatic, every time I see Glen all I can do is smile
Spray cheese and Chicken in a Biscuit were a staple when I was in my early 20s
My absolute favorite crackers.
Yes. Yes. Yes
Oh God still one of my camping traditions
I'm almost 50 and its still one of my favorite snack combinations!
Yup this is why spray cheese was made to put on you chicken in a biscuit. I just made it through covid with this combo it was the only thing I could taste for a few days.
Jules: "Is this what you do with it?"
Rest of World: "Generally you spray it straight in your mouth and the chips are optional."
Just like whipped cream in a can !
🤣
That’s what I was thinking 🤣
Never had it with chips, just crackers like wheat thins or triscuits. Chips are the domain of salsa con queso for me. But I have eaten it straight from the can before. lol
@@PewPewPark, try it with Graham crackers!
I love the concept that you've never done this before and could have possibly failed. Please show us more videos like that! Heaven knows I've failed at a ton of dishes I have tried to create lol thanks Glen!

Easy cheese is a Christmas tradition in my family.

Glen and his squirt cheese...boys and their toys..like a kid on Easter morning. It was good to see you smile, my friends.
That was epic. Now I going to need to make Easy Cheese.... It used to come and a "Swiss cheese " variety. I no longer need to go without!
Never stop having fun.
I’m thinking of a smoked Gouda with horse radish and bacon flavoring would be an awesome spray cheese
The possibilities are endless
Jesus Christ, gourmet spray cheese
Cracker+tuna+spray cheese+olive slice=heaven!
Glen, try adding a little smoke flavor to that cheese sauce.
We usually had it at holiday times or on Friday night when I was a kid. We would spray it on crackers only, commonly a Ritz cracker or a townhouse cracker, and then top it with a piece of pepperoni.
Why this isn’t the biggest food channel on UA-cam is beyond me! Keep up the good work.
This is a no go with me. Personally I wouldn’t want to clean the canister. I’m glad you showed us how they do it, though. I always wondered. Good for you for figuring it out and succeeding first time out. You’re amazing!
Food heroes! Love it.
Ritz crackers and spray cheese is a must
Love the videos Glen! Thanks for the entertainment and wisdom you pass on.
So much of life is defined by the tension between "can" and "should"... and - once again - we are existentially challenged by Glen And Friends. What would Nietzsche say?
> What would Nietzsche say?
"Don't Bogart that spray cheese, mein freund."
rippermcguinn: Nietzsche would say “Pass the Ritz crackers, please.”
Something about the abyss staring back at you. He's hard to understand between the older German and the mouth full of spray cheese.
@@royvf1s "With the perfect human, thought and action are one", so I think that means "make spray cheese".

Yeah, I ain't used it on nachos but I've defo used it on saltines.
That Citrate is really game changer. Essential for cheese sauces, Thanx!!
Gotta do this for dinner tomorrow!! Thanks for the idea. Love your channel!
Easy cheese: we all know it's awful but you're a liar if you don't admit you kind of like it.
Julie excepted. ;)
Only the bacon flavored kind.
Not awful. Awe-full!
@@jonathantillian6528 yes the best kind, I think I had it when I was a child, in Ontario of course...

This was the right thing to do. Spray cheese is a delicacy in the USA. Love you guys.
On celery or apple slices would be fantastic. We used Kraft Cheeze Whiz when I was a kid.

It goes by a much more flattering name as well: cheesewiz
Yeah, but that is a big brand in a big food company with lots of lawyers. Oh and they are d*×s.
I love cheese in a can!!!! I have to try to try your recipe, Glen. Thanks for sharing!!!
A can of easy cheese, box of wheat thins or triscuits and sunflower kernels = a go to snack when camping as a boy scout. Oh the memories.
Sunflower kernels.......hmmmmmmmm. Gonna have to give that a try.
Easy Cheese sprayed on Ritz Crackers, I am ashamed, I love it! Sounds like a fun thing to make.
I love that Glen likes it!
Love this! Merry Christmas Friends!
I highly recommend the "Goofy" movie as a proper demonstration of easy cheese use and practice.
Its the leaning tower of Cheese-uh
Brb for "research"
Excellently executed empirical experiment!
I’m with Glenn! I think you got a winner there after adding that jalapeño to it!!! Thanks for sharing, good fun!!! W

Glen, you looked so thrilled with the outcome on your first taste!
This is genius! Yer a wizard, Glen!
This American is proud of you. Next time, definitely nacho up that cheese.
Celery sticks with spray cheese... a retro xmas classic!
Thank you, great video. I want to make this with my kids.
Spray Cheese - what fun! Thanks. Merry Christmas and best wishes.
Best. Chanel. Ever. 🤯🤯🤯
It's a fun experiment, I like it! From Brazil here!
I shake with anticipation to watch Glen wing-it!

LOVE THESE TWO!!
Thank you for sharing your experience and ideas, definitely we always get inspired to improve our cooking channel.
I love the honest opinion instead of everything being to die for like other channels ive seen
Glen your videos are always so enjoyable to watch, always a highlight of my day.
I love Glen clapping while eating the cheesy chip :D

We eat it on Ritz and Bugle snacks. Its good stuff. Also good on soft or hard pretzels.
I'm team Glen here. From my couch to yours, nice work!
Jules: It's a no-go.
Glen: More for me!
nice job! it look yummy!

Yes Glen, you "should" do it. Pickled jalapenos are great! I typically put it on crackers (like Ritz) rather than chips (Less salty.)
Ritz cracker with or without a pepperoni round on top are good. Oh, Don't forget, the ever popular celery stick filled with spray cheese.
In the UK we have 'Coloured Cheddar' which looks the same colour as the one your using. Red Lester cheese is also a coloured cheese and is virtually identical to cheddar but not as crumbly.
Gourmet Spray Cheese, now we can have Christmas West Virginia 🎄🇺🇸
