  • In this video I am showing you how I crochet this beautiful lace. It is crocheted in one go so when you have reached the length of the lace that you want - you are done!
    I really love this pattern and am making 24 meters of lace for my pantry shelves and I thought that I would love to also share this pattern with you!
    I really hope that you enjoy this video and hope you have a wonderful day!
    Love
    Mariette

    Im Dyspraxic. So I went into the settings on screen. Then set the playback speed to 0.5. Even then still struggle to see exactly where your putting the bext stitch in a new hole. As sorry to say. You sometimes cover it over with your thumb or finger. But it's still a good video.

    Thank you very much for your lace tutorial. You gave very clear instructions. Easy to understand . I copied it using crochet thread size 30 (hoping to use it for when I make my silk blouse) but I added a little bit on the upper edge of the lace, where I will sew it on my blouse. Instead of just one double crochet I did : one dc, ch 1 then 2dc.
    Again thank you very much

    Thank you for sharing. Great pattern...making lace out of remnants of yarn...to add to jumper edges, crochet or any blankets etc..
    Figured I could do this lace while simultaneously attaching the middle chain of each chain 3 (at the straight edge of the lace, to a project.
    Now I can embellish my plain jumpers with your lovely pattern.

      @FoodNerds I would suggest the hook size recommended for the yarn that you are using. In this videos sample I used crochet no 5 yarn and a 2.25mm crochet hook.

    How do you keep your hand from cramping up? I'm crocheting a lace swimsuit cover up and my poor hand keeps cramping so bad

    • @dieboervroumariette
      @dieboervroumariette  9 місяців тому +1

      Oh I am sorry to hear that. I do not have a problem with cramping. Maybe you should look into different ways to hold the hook? Are you using the 'knife grip' or 'pen grip'? Crocheting shouldn't cause you pain. Sometimes it is just how you hold the hook or the specific hook is not suitable for you to work with. I used to get a blister from the steel hooks and since I switched to Clover Amour hooks with the grips on the back where you hold them, the problem disappeared.
