    Crucial information for the hose at 7:17
    My aos did not come with the threaded nipple attached to this hose and was already attached to the aos and I was unaware that it is a directional hose so to anyone reading this; learn from my mistake and make absolute sure the arrow on the check valve in the middle of the hose is pointing toward the intake manifold. The shorter side of the hose goes on the aos. I installed this hose backwards and it restricted my engine from being able to breathe and it was pushing oil out of every gasket it could so PLEASE make sure this hose is going the correct way

      that plug is essentially useless. if you just cut the connector off and wire the 2 wires together is serves the same purpose, its just some sort of loop and splicing the wires and connecting them together is the same thing. gives things a cleaner look

    What did you do with the second to last hose connection? The one with the PCV? You said you were going to connect the PCV and put it in there but how did you get that all connected up?

    • @fastlifestyle7249
      @fastlifestyle7249  3 місяці тому

      I had to buy the white sensor that plugs into that plug and I just attached the hose onto that white sensor. After that you just leave it. You don't have to do anything with that white sensor. Hope this helps. Sorry for the late reply.

    • @shawnsquires2716
      @shawnsquires2716 Рік тому

      you could probably make this fit but you would have to modify it. you also shouldn't really need it on a na car. its mostly for turbo'd cars

    So there’s another video that’s doing the same install and is touting the hose completely different so I’m a little confused

    • @fastlifestyle7249
      @fastlifestyle7249  3 роки тому

      Do you know what hose it is? IAG gives install instructions on the different vehicles. If you just look up IAG AOS V3 instructions they should come up. You'll Have to find the right AOS and vehicle though.

    With the pcv sensors the hose that was supposed to go there what happens with the hose?

    • @fastlifestyle7249
      @fastlifestyle7249  3 роки тому

      I just attached the white sensor on it then put the hose to it and plugged up the sensor on the other end. What I'm gonna do though is take that sensor completely off because you don't need it and get a Y adapter and run it with the other hose into the turbo inlet.

    • @skylerwalkowski529
      @skylerwalkowski529 3 роки тому

      I have the same turbo inlet as you, so you can run both hoses just directly into the inlet with no sensor at all?

    • @fastlifestyle7249
      @fastlifestyle7249  3 роки тому

      @@skylerwalkowski529 You can run one to the top of it like I did in the video. The other one you'd have to run into the PCV sensor or if you have a hole on the back of your inlet then IAG provides you with that 90 degree plug. What I would do though if you have the same perrin inlet as me is get a Y splitter and just run both hoses into the hole closest to the cold air intake. Hope that helps!

    Quick question my dude I cut off a little bit of the hoses that go to the turbo and coolant expansion tank because I didn’t have a lot of room and the hoses kept bending to where it kept clogging is that normal to cut the hoses for space

    • @fastlifestyle7249
      @fastlifestyle7249  3 роки тому

      Yes it's normal to cut the hose for room, but cutting it to short is not good. If it keeps bending your hose might be to long. It should not be clogging anything. I would take it off and put it up a bit closer without cutting. See if it bends and if it doesn't then cut it to that point.

    Thanks Bro. You have any idea as too where you would install this AOS on a RHD sti?

    • @fastlifestyle7249
      @fastlifestyle7249  3 роки тому

      That's a hard one. I would try to see if I could put it somewhere on the drivers side. You might have to drill your own holes and install it with the bracket. As long as you have room somewhere near the PCV, valve covers, and surge tank you should be okay to install it in any location. You might have to do some modifications and get some longer hoses, but it's not impossible.

    • @fastlifestyle7249
      @fastlifestyle7249  3 роки тому +2

      I would also contact IAG and ask them about it. See if they any good ideas on where to install it on a RHD sti. They would probably know more about that. I'm pretty sure you're not the first to ask that.
      Here is a link I found to someone who did it. Hope it helps.

    • @fastlifestyle7249
      @fastlifestyle7249  3 роки тому

      You should have two valve breather hoses, one on driver side and one on passenger. Do you have an EJ205 in your wrx?

    • @alejandrodacosta3814
      @alejandrodacosta3814 2 роки тому

      GD WRX's only have (1) breather on each valve cover. You have to do a little work in each valve cover to put (1) extra for every side. Did mine with (2) bronze KFPS/NPT in that same plastic piece where you have only one breather. In forums they do that in the metal part of the valve cover, i didn't like that route so did mines in the plastic part.
