Hello guys I hope you enjoy the video and sorry the volume is too high. But I still hope you find value in the video. And because it’s winter and we are stuck inside, I will probably be doing more sit down videos.
Congratulations to a relatively young grandma. You and your family are blessed. If you were from my own part of Africa, you are expected to be with the new mum for some weeks to help her cope with post-natal stress. Your duties will be cooking for her, taking care of the baby, washing baby clothes, etc😊. I must say it is a very good family support culture. Green looks good in you though.
@@zubby7461 Thank you. I think when we come to Europe we have to accept that things are different. Many grandparents are working and you can’t just take a week off. But also many of our kids here are very independent. My daughter is a strong Independent girl and believe me, she is enjoying her mommy time with the baby because that’s all she is expected to do. And because the baby was born early she has to stay in the hospital and there are nurses 24/7 I also think women here are so attached to their new born babies and they want to do everything themselves. My daughter is happy and doing fine and is getting all the help and love she needs. Because it’s a whole different culture she doesn’t need me for those things and I don’t feel guilty because I know all those things are being taken care of. Reason we pay high taxes. And grandparents here might not be doing what grandparents do in Africa, but I have seen how grandparents love and spoil their grandchildren so it’s just different. Both have their pros and cons.
I agree with you, Milly😊. I'm Ugandan, living in Norway, and I really drink ginger tea or just hot water boiled with ginger. I don't drink very cold water. I boil water and drink.
@@Alicenyawere it’s just too cold during winter. I don’t even like is cream during winter. I like cold water during summer, but still mostly spring tea. But kids here learn to drink the cold water even during winter. I’m sure there are Africans who love cold water in these cold streets. Not me😂
@@jackienakato1678 Do you sleep enough? Like 8 hours? So you drink enough water? If so it might be allergies or maybe genetics. But lack of sleep will do that to me in just a few days.
There' Milly. I love these sit down and talk vlogs. Thank you! lady. Congrats! to you and family. I am a grandparent too. She is 4yrs young and has my heart. Her name is Daisy. She has her own youtube channel too @daisythetoddler. Enjoy yours Milly. God bless!
@@kemikemi oh wow 🤩. You have a UA-camr. That’s cool. And I definitely look so much forward to being a grandma 😊. Will check Daisy’s channel out. What a lovely name.
@@Milly_in_denmark LOL! @ having a "youtuber' I had to open a channel for Daisy, because her energy is through the roof, and she is very smart. I was like Daisy needs to share these wonderful! qualities with the world. She is adorable and very kindhearted at such a young age too. Yes, Milly enjoy! your grandbaby. I am same age as you and I am feeling blessed having the energy to run around our backyard with Daisy at playtime. It' truly a blessing Milly.

@@Alicenyawere I don’t even understand how people drink cold water during winter.
@Milly_in_denmark I think it could be because of our backgrounds that we didn't have fridges at home.
