Sir, plz tell me about the life of amt gearbox as I want to have my first car for more than 10 years and I am very confused about durability of amt gearbox....what if some problem arises out of it while I am driving it or I am outside city ?? Will it be repaired ?? Or can amt gear box be changed with a new one And if some problems are out there with amt, will I be able to drive it at leat for a few kilometres to seek help Plz reply sir

In Reply to this i must tell you i haven't faced any problem as such with gearbox , even in hills , so you can confidently go for it ...just remember one thing AMT is made for light peddled driving , expecting fun like manual out of it will surely disappoint you. in-fact all automatics will disappoint you.

Thank you Rajeev for taking out time for watching and commenting on video. I am using an AMT vehicle for the last 6 years.. driven 47000+ Kms so far went to all type of hills nearby Bangalore. So if you are suggesting for regular usages over hills ... yes you are right, manual is more recommended.

Automatic or manual apki choice hai Sunil , but Maintenance wise manual rakhna zyada samajhdari bhara decision hoga , kyonki automatic car lene wale agar sankhya mein kam hain apke shehar mein to dealers ya service station pe parts ki samasya aa sakti hai future mein. To be honest i am not aware of laddkh's terrain, moreover driving solo would need lot of proactive planning for risk mitigation. i will suggest to get some company on your trip. Very informative video, may I know is it safe to drive 600 km in a day with AMT long drive, I heared that Clutch gets overheated in AMT . Can you please help me with this .

Hi Anisha, There are Categories in which driving license is issued , one of them is called Gearless/ Non-gear License, generally if applicant is under 18 he is automatically given non gear licensee, Which can be converted to Geared one after passing test, If you are more than 18 years of age and would like to opt for non gear license you can do that. hope this answers your query.
