Okay....so I was way off base!! I thought this is a NEW HAMPSHIRE company but it is not! We’re down in Barrington, NH...Still, beautiful buildings and they have a great system! One question Al. Did you have to pay Vermont taxes? Similar systems are available out of Maine as well but, I do much prefer this one you got...I wonder price difference. We got our double lofted (8’ each end), opening loft door, one window, the double opening end doors and a second oversized door on the side. We had it wired to include a heater and 220 welder. All totaled, with electric, about 8,500. But this is 2x4 and 2x6 dimensional lumber construction with a metal roof. It’s stained and sealed with 5/8 flooring. I’m happy with it BUT, I do admire those post and beams!!
I work in a place exactly like this in the north west coast. I know exactly what Dom’s talking about and I can appreciate the quality and technology of this company. Their machines are a couple of decades ahead of ours. I can say this is a very well organized company, I am impressed with the inventory control.
I took a tour of a power plant when I was a bit older than Olivia and that is what helped me to decide later to become an engineer - so you never know what will influence children - us girls in particular - to end up where they do!! Great job on the tour!! ❤️🧡
Awesome tour. I agree with Gina and Olivia, if you get a barn, they should get a craft house. Lol. It's also special to know that a percentage if your barn, may have come from your own property. You should date your barn with the date your property was logged, and when you built your barn.
What a great tour! I'm with Gina and a craft building. I would love to have a craft building like that! lol Or a sauna would be nice too. lol Thanks for taking us on the tour with you all. Tanner and Olivia were so well behaved.
Al had to go to the factory to be able to put the building together. Now they will use this video on how to put the buildings together! Thanks Al your just one of those guys who always have a great attitude. Less bad pride, I think!
Wow, that was quite the tour--I, too, would like a sauna, a craft room, and a Vermont cabin--this company appears to be very well run and they know what they're doing. Now, I can't wait to see progress on building your barn, Al. Thanks for taking us along for the day.
Long before you bought the Barn I’ve been watching all this same guys tour videos on his Jamaica cottage shop cabins & buildings. He has a guy that comes & films him & they do a video on every Cabin & building he builds there! I like his vidoes & how he explains all the buildings! Yeah Al I fell in love with the big Vermont Cottage Cabin myself, it’s gorgeous! Can’t wait to see you put your barn together. Have a nice weekend. 👍
Oh boy!!! Get busy building, Al! I can hardly wait!! Nice tour of facility. Obviously, I will be watching every step of the say...As I have said before, I love watching you build anything......so get busy!
I was waiting to see this since you've been mentioning it ! Thanks to all involved . You must be so proud of your daughter . She seems like such a grown up , sweet kid ! STAY COOL little one ! Its rare now a days
Enjoyed the video Al, Gina and Olivia. Thanks for taking us along. That was very interesting. They sure do have a nice business with allot of models to choose from. Y'all take care and God bless.
I bought a very similar kit to you last year. Wish I had your videos to watch before I started. I built it all myself, without any prior experience. Very happy with how it turned out!
Thank you for taking me on the tour, very interesting to see how things our made from wood. Beautiful craftsmanship. Can’t wait for you to start your barn.
Thanks for the awesome tour Dom. The tin/roofing cutter was really cool also really liked the CNC machine with the rotating table, monster blade. Cant wait to see ya break ground!
got to tell you I was highly dissapointed there was no good morning modern steaders to start the video,I'll get over it but it's a high light of my day.
A job well done . Very interesting video I'm looking forward to seeing the barn build. May the Lord Bless you all and Keep you .May He make his face shine on you all and give you all peace.
Thank you for taking us along to see where your barn was built. I'm excited to see all the improvements that's going to come to Lumnah homestead this year! A new barn, new baby goats, new piglets and chickens! You've brought new life to an ole burned out homestead. If the previous farmers could see what you've done with the place I know they would be proud!
Wow what an operation. Very cool to see how others see a need or opportunity and be a successful business providing great products. Thanks for sharing Al.
Enjoyed the tour. Thanks for taking us along. Can't wait to see what becomes of your kit. I know you'll have so much fun putting it together. Bless you all!!
Thank you Al for taking us there on the tour, and thank you Dom for Sorring us all around; it sure was a great experience to see how you do things. Great tour. Can't wait to follow the construction of your barn Al 😎 Great video as always. Thank you 👍🇩🇰🇺🇸😎
Thanks Al & Gina... You just may have saved me a trip down there ( 96 miles one-way ) by providing a tour of the facility. I am quite impressed by their method of cutting everything out in advance using CNC machines, labeling & stacking in order of assembly... I also appreciate that they primarily use northeast spruce... Big reduction in intensive labor time with this set-up, not to mention human error! Bill on the Hill... :~)
Thank you so much for taking us along to the barn factory .. was interesting to see all the areas and standards in place to make a beautiful building ... looking forward to watching you erect your barn ... have a great day and give hope a little treat from me !!
Most impressive! I liked everything I saw on the tour. The tour guide reminded me of my auto mechanic, down to earth & knows what he's talking about. A well organized production facility, no frills but well thought out, for the company & the buyer. I'm passing this video on to my son, who recently bought a farm & will need buildings for human habitation & farm animals also. He may choose this kit method rather than having carpenters build on site, depending on how cost effective the kits are. He could enlist me & his friends to spend a weekend at the farm & do a "barn raising." Again, I'm glad I found this company & I sent the link to him. I hope this company is around for a long time, I sense the integrity as shown in the video. Thanks...
Great video, its always helpful to see the how and why of how things work, I can hardly wait to see the barn go up. From Australia thanks for your blogs
What a great place, thanks for taking us along. I can’t wait to watch you build it, wish I could come and help you out, looks like fun. Thanks for sharing with us Al, we all love your videos! 😎👍John
Great tour! Nice that Tanner got to go along too. You wore the right boots. Hope sure is a plucky little goat. She has the right attitude and is winning over the others bit by bit. Excited to see Willow's baby(ies). Our half pygmy goats really love it when we brush out all that winter fluff and insulation. We are getting into the low 70s during the day here in MO and 50s at night and lots of flowers in bloom. 😊👍🌷
A very interesting tour! They sure have a large operation. I never expected they offered so many options. Now we can't wait till you get started building the barn! Thank you for taking us along for the tour.
Thank you so much for the factory tour. It was very informative. It also is encouraging to know there is quality work being done and is available. Thanks so much!
Omg, I want one of those saunas and a craft room. Beautiful wood work on that Vermont home. Thanks for the tour Al and family. Enjoy your weekend to all.
I loved the Vt. cabin as well! I have always loved timber framed buildings. Our house is not (Not knowledgeable enough at 19 when we built our house), but if ever have to do it over..... Thanks for taking us along Al

Great tour! It's so nice that they are a small family business with great business practice. Would love that Vermont house also! Anxious to see our barn going up....it will be so wonderful for all of you! Blessings from NE Missouri!
An interesting thing about factory buildings . They are made more precisely than most on site created buildings . Which means that the components fit better , the buildings are tighter, etc. Overall , they are better buildings. And yet , mortgage companies will not loan money on them . Wouldn't it be awesome if the Lumnah lumber returned back to the farm. The tour was really interesting. Love that they try and keep things local. Where will Gina's sauna go ?
My best guess would be right next to the outdoor kitchen, cause she wouldnt want to walk too far just to get to her sauna. I know I wouldnt. Especially during the winter time and snow is all over the place. And as for olivia with the crafting cabin, I could see her having her own channel, all about her and her craftings.
Yep, ya never know unless you follow it from beginning to end. But even still, there is that off chance. Only way to find out, and would take a good while, is to do a bit of deep research and see where the trees went by checking with the company that hauled it out to see where it was delivered. Then talk with them to see if they actually follow the log lots to whereever they are sold to. And keep going from there til you hit the final destination of that particular lot...if they all went to the same place. But that is a whole lot of work to do just to find all that info. Only problem is, not every single logging company keeps track of their lots as there is no real need for it in most cases. So its basically a shot in the dark. Either way, it would be pretty cool to learn where your trees from your own property ended up and how it became beneficial in whatever way the tree was used for.
Interesting tour Al. Looks like the project after the barn is gonna be a sauna. I like building projects myself it’s always great once they are done gives a person a satisfied feeling

Great video, I don’t comment to often, but this is a super cool video love the tour of the barns suppliers faculty! But as always your videos are great as always! Thanks for sharing
It’s amazing how much work goes into making the materials, let alone the building! What a huge process. I think I would feel amazing if I managed to put this together!
Wow! What a factory! Thanks for the tour video Al, it was very interesting! And to think you might be using some of your own trees, how cool is that! ✌🇨🇱❤
The tour was awesome. I don't see how they figure out what pieces to pull and not to pull. But, it would be fun to be there and cut all that wood. I hope that the other goats will quit hitting Hope in her side. I am always afraid that they will hurt her. Have a Blessed Day!
I love your wide variety of different things you place on you channel I always watch your videos as they help me understand all the things that you need to go through in order to keep animals
The process from start to finish is daunting! Soooo much work to do before the barn actually goes up. How did farmers raise a barn by hand and hammer before computers and all the rest of the equipment? Mind-boggling!
Our Barn kit comes from Jamaica Cottage Shop ~ bit.ly/2LjBmeT 10% off with Promo Code YeahBro10 Thanks Domenic for the discount!
How do you like your barn? Well made? I'm thinking of buying my cabin kit from Jamaica.

I love your wide variety of different things you place on you channel I always watch your videos as they help me understand all the things that you need to go through in order to keep animals
Wow -- I am impressed with the huge lumber. Great video--thanks for sharing. Wish list is filling up.
Very professional outfit, well organised.
An awesome setup at Jamaica Cottage Shop. I may be looking them up one day. Very good stuff.
The process from start to finish is daunting! Soooo much work to do before the barn actually goes up. How did farmers raise a barn by hand and hammer before computers and all the rest of the equipment? Mind-boggling!
Thank You. That was a great tour. Loved the Sauna.
Great trip thAnk you for taking us love your channel more each day God bless you all xoxo
