very interesting videos, I learned so much, I tried canna cure and I'm really satisfied with the results, If i had seen these videos earlier I'd have opted for a coco soil instead of peat. overall next season I'll be switching to canna for sure. I like how deficiencies, excesses are explained and I hope that you'll be making more videos , It is hard to find reliable/easy to understand videos abt that topic!!
Hi Pieter. Could you tell a bit more about the watering times in an aeroponic system? I always go with 15 minutes on and 15 off. Is that too much or too less? So far everything looks great. The first 14 days it‘s 15 on and 30 off. I know there‘s no „Schema F“, but is there something to know about? Please help me out. ✌️
Hi Knut, Watering in an Aeroponic system is the most difficult recommendation you can give without knowing all factors of growing and especially the system itself. For example; It depends on the type and size of the plug, which you use to hold the plant and so also the water (buffer) or not. Your "dry" time can be/must be longer if the plug hold more water. You have to force the root to look for water (at the bottom). The age of the plant is also a factor. More roots can become a kind of substrate too. And the watering system itself will influence your watering schedule.. Anyhow, the roots must stay moist/wet between each watering The water and air between the waterings must have and keep the same temperature. Fluctuations or too high can kill the roots If your roots can touch the (drain-) water, later on, your frequency becomes less important, The start: As long the roots don't touch the water layer (if any), your "dry" time cannot be too long. Nevertheless, your 15 ON/ 30 OFF (= 33/66 = 1:2, watering schedule), sounds to me too extreme. Check if each root still has a drop at the tip of each root. If so you were right. In general, I recommend a 50/50 at the start. Later on, the "dry" time can be reduced if the roots hit the waterlayer (75/25= 3:1= 15 min ON/ 5min OFF) for example. I say it in percentages, because 3 minutes ON and 1 minute OFF, is also possible. But again it depends on your system And don't forget the strain. Some strains don't like water systems like aeroponics. So maybe it was better to recommend you, to ask the same question to the producers of your system I hope this general answer will help you.😉
Wow thanks for the fantastic answer. ❤❤❤❤ I needed to stop my last grow due to HLVd (I have a diary with fotos) and clean it all with chlorix. I will try out what you said. Thanks a lot. 👨🌾

Glad you found it helpful. if you get any questions/doubts during your learning process on COCO, don't hesitate to ask for our assistance.
Hi Pieter.
Could you tell a bit more about the watering times in an aeroponic system? I always go with 15 minutes on and 15 off. Is that too much or too less? So far everything looks great. Hi Knut,
Watering in an Aeroponic system is the most difficult recommendation you can give without knowing all factors of growing and especially the system itself.
For example;
It depends on the type and size of the plug, which you use to hold the plant and so also the water (buffer) or not.
Your "dry" time can be/must be longer if the plug hold more water.
You have to force the root to look for water (at the bottom).
The age of the plant is also a factor. More roots can become a kind of substrate too.
And the watering system itself will influence your watering schedule..
Anyhow, the roots must stay moist/wet between each watering
The water and air between the waterings must have and keep the same temperature. Fluctuations or too high can kill the roots
If your roots can touch the (drain-) water, later on, your frequency becomes less important,
The start:
As long the roots don't touch the water layer (if any), your "dry" time cannot be too long.
But again it depends on your system
And don't forget the strain. Some strains don't like water systems like aeroponics.
So maybe it was better to recommend you, to ask the same question to the producers of your system
I hope this general answer will help you.😉

Hi, do you use this nutrient in an NFT system? which is recirculating but the plant is a rockwool cube rather then no media at all.
Yes
More on Aqua and recirculating systems!
We'll keep this in mind 😉
