Thank you for the helpful tips on your tutorial. Your craftsmanship is beautiful & very inspiring. Thanks to you, everyone gets beautiful burlap wreaths this year for Christmas! Keep making videos and doing what you're doing ☺
So glad I found this video. My son sent me a picture of the wreath asking me to buy the supplies and help him and his 3 boys make it for his wife's birthday. Awesome job explaining!!! You helped do much!!!
this is the best sunflower I have seen made. if has a very clean and professional look to it. creating a felt backing its the perfect finishing touch. tfs.
Julie..I just ran across your sunflower wreath tutorial and immediately hit "subscribed". Your tutorial was wonderful. Add these to your tutorial list : gerber daisy (white with yellow center), marigold/dahlia , and apple blossom/dogwood wreath. I visited your etsy shop. All your wreaths are beautiful. Thank you for taking the time to share your talent.
I absolutely love this! It’s really nice of you share your work. The videos are very clear and you explain everything and show everything perfectly! Thank you so much 🌻
Thank You So Much Julie!!! That is a Fantastic tutorial!! I have been wanting to make a Sunflower which is my FAVORITE flower. I was not sure which tutorial I liked the most UNTIL I found this one of yours!! That is my next project. Thanks again xo
This is beautiful! And your tutorial was great and very easy to understand. Thank you for making it. I can't wait to make treats. And I can't wait for your next video!
Love this wreath. I have made 2 of them. One for my mom and another for a fundraiser this weekend...my friend is battling cancer for the second time and loves sunflowers. #teamcarla #carlastrong.
I love the idea of using burlap in the center. Other people use glass pebbles, but I think that adds weight to the wreath which is unnecessary. New subbie! Thank you!
Julie thank you for show a different way of making this beautiful wreaths hope I can get poly burlap somewhere because in Corpus Christi ,Texas we don’t have the poly burlap to make them.So this would been great to make for any occasion.
Thank you, go to the description box and I have a list of retailers that sell poly burlap. You will not find it in a local craft store. I do know Craftoutlet, com has the yellow poly.
Oh! My! Goodness love this.will certainly be on my list of things to try.JULIE I WOULD LOVE IF YOU SHOWED US HOW TO MAKE A POINSETTIA FLOWER. PRETTY PLEASE????
This wreath is so beautiful! What a well done step by step tutorial as well. I do have a question, if you're covering the back with felt how does one hang the wreath from the wire frame if felt now covers the frame?
Hi Julie thank you so much for making this video. I have a question, would I be able to replace poly burlap with jute burlap? Would it still look the same?
Jessica Gonzalez, yes you can the only thing I would suggest doing differently is on the inside ring use only one petal. The natural Jute burlap is a heavier product and will bulk up when you add them to your wreath frame. I have at least 3 Sunflowers made with natural Jute burlap in my Etsy shop.
hai the tutorial was osum.... thank you very much for the tutorial.A quick question like how many flowers can we make with one roll of each color....???
Thank you , I’m attempting to make this beautiful wreath, only issue is that I couldn’t find a 10” wreath form. I’m using a 12” form, should I make the petal measurement bigger? Appreciate your help. Thank you!
Beautiful! 😍 Thank you! Question: Does Poly Burlap fade in the sun? I would hate to go through all of this effort, hang it outside, & then see it has faded...😬🍁🍂🍁🍂🌻
Depending on which direction your door is on. All fabrics and mesh will fade but you can spray clear matte Rustoleum acrylic spray with UV protectant in it s well.
Wish there was a Love Button!! This is an awesome tutorial! You make such beautiful wreaths! Do you think you might make a video showing the Dahlia wreath, it is so beautiful!
Cathy Milson, thank you so much! It's a possibility, right now time is my biggest issue. It's my busy season and I do have more tutorials and blog post in the works.
Absolutely stunning wreath and your tutorials are so very informative and easy to follow. Thank you. Question... Is poly burlap the same thing as Deco mesh? I'm new to this and don't know all of the terminology yet.
Deco mesh and poly burlap are like total opposites when making a wreath. Poly is made from a plastic and has a more substantial feel unlike the deco which is see-thru and more elastic in it.
Is there a differences in he quality of poly burlap and poly burlap mesh. I was able to purchase poly burlap mesh on Amazom however it is seriously fraying. I very carefully cut between the lines with a scissors and the sunflower is a train reck. Any suggestions/recommendations? the directions were awesome but my mesh just isn't making it.
Thank you for this tutorial....very well done! I was wondering why wouldn't you just hot glue the felt to the back of the wreath? Seems it might lay flatter without zip ties.
V Valencia, thanks. I don’t do that because i want my customers to be able to hang the Wreath from the wire frame and from the angle they want. You simply turn the zip ties inside and everything lays flat. I would think the hot glue could get a little messy putting it on a wire frame too.
Julie do you sell just this sunflower video. The three you have together, is not this one. And I love it. I am currently trying it, but can't get enough of a shot to see exactly what your doing. Seems like my petals are high, and when I have to stack the 3, I want to push them down, the center seem so high. I hope you have an answer for me, I'm ready to download that video.
HI i loved your detailed video. i am going to try this style soon. i hope to view your other work I'm new here so trying to figure out how to see your other videos.
Dianne Spaabeck, I used the lime green in the video. If you are wanting more of a fall look then the olive green is very nice. The moss green is more of a brownish green.
I love this wreath! It's stunning! I purchased everything to make one, however, I had to get a 12" frame. I know I need extra petals, but I'm uncertain where to place them. Do I follow this tutorial and just add in the bare spaces or do I need to do it differently altogether?
Nikki Locke, follow the same way. It you will add an extra petal set. A 10" has 5 brackets and a 12" should have 6" brackets so you'll just add an extra set of petals.
I ended up with a 12" frame also. 10" has 5 main up & down wires on the round frame. The 12" has 6 main up & down wires on the round frame. You add petals to the 6th up & down wire on the frame. Hope that makes sense.
I have been purchasing mine in bulk on Ebay but sometimes they are hit and miss on their duribility. Just make sure to find out how much weight they can hold and that should be the difference between the more durable zip ties.
Liiz Perez, depends on where you get your materials, how much you spend in shipping, tools, and how much time based on how much you can make on each wreath. Time is a very important part of your cost as well. My Etsy Shop link is in the description box above to show all of my prices.
Hi, loved your tutorial! I've been wanting to try this for awhile now. Where did you purchase the burlap rolls from? It's hard to find the different colors. The only color I come across in my area is the light brown. I only see the green or darker brown in ribbon. Do you know of a website they can be ordered from? Thanks! :)
Julie -- where are you getting your poly-burlap? I'm seeing 9" and 14" -- no 10". Help!! I'm DYING to make this wreath for my front door. Keep the tutorials coming -- AWESOME job!
Is it called “Poly Burlap MESH” on craft outlet.com? I see that it is currently out of stock, but just want to make sure the word MESH should be in the name of the one I’m looking for before I buy it! Thanks! :)
Thank you for the helpful tips on your tutorial. Your craftsmanship is beautiful & very inspiring. Thanks to you, everyone gets beautiful burlap wreaths this year for Christmas! Keep making videos and doing what you're doing ☺

Beautiful wreath. It seems easy. Thanks
I love the idea of using burlap in the center. Other people use glass pebbles, but I think that adds weight to the wreath which is unnecessary. New subbie! Thank you!
These are amazing! Thanks for sharing how you did them!
I would like to see a red and black poppy. Great tutorial Julie.
Great job with the directions. I am planning a fall sunflower craft party!
Valerie Conrado, that should be a lot of fun! I've taught many classes using this method.
So pretty! Happy Fall from Florida.🌴Thanks for sharing. You did a beautiful job on this wreath. I love it ❤

Awesome tutorial - I made one and it turned out awesome
I would like to see a tut on your new flower wreath...it was cream colored with different petals this time...loved it too!
I do have plans for future tutorial, keep watching :)
So, I’m working on my sunflower wreath, yours is sooooo much better. Not sure if I’ll do another one or not, I’m very frustrated with it, lol.
I love it. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers. I'm going to try this. Tfs...✌💚🌻🌻🌻

This wreath is so beautiful! What a well done step by step tutorial as well. I do have a question, if you're covering the back with felt how does one hang the wreath from the wire frame if felt now covers the frame?
Thank you so much. I use small zip ties to attach the felt so it will leave gaps and you can hang the wreath on the the frame itself.
Gorgeous! Thank you!
Very pretty .
Beautiful!
Great tutorial. I want to make a sunflower. Suggestion for another flower - how about an orange poppy with a black center.
Sonia Anyname, that's a great idea, thank you.

Julie’s Wreath Boutique your awesome thank you sooo much. Altering the center too, but I think I have a hold on that??🤪🤪

Cathy Milson, thank you so much! It's a possibility, right now time is my biggest issue. It's my busy season and I do have more tutorials and blog post in the works.
I was wondering can you use the Dollar Tree 8 inch wreath form and if so do you keep the petal size the same or do you change it .
You always keep the petals the same size, you will just use less mesh because of the smaller size.
Was wondering if regular deco mesh could be used. I've been unable to find poly burlap in my stores in town. Nearest craft store is 1 hour away.
Very nice.
Would it work with 10" by 19 ft poly burlap?I'm just starting out so I'm trying to understand.Yhank you
Absolutely stunning wreath and your tutorials are so very informative and easy to follow. Thank you.

Deco mesh and poly burlap are like total opposites when making a wreath. Poly is made from a plastic and has a more substantial feel unlike the deco which is see-thru and more elastic in it.
Do u have to use pipe cleaners or can u do the zip tie method for each leaf/ petal
Great tutorial! Thanks!
Thank You!

H2JOY HeatherJoy Heaton, check out my Facebook page because I do Lives on there as well. Same name, Julie’s Wreath Boutique
Your wreaths are the most beautiful. I definitely need to give it a try. How much do you sell them for.?
I have a range of prices on my website at julieswreathboutique.com
I am having a hard time findinv paper mesh or the burlap you used for this wreath. Can poly deco mesh be used? Please advise.
I would really love to see both an army wreath and also a black and blue police wreath.
Hi Julie. Is most of the leaves and petals that you make 10 inches for all flowers?
Leaves are generally 11” and petals are 10”
Great tutorial!!
Thank You!
Thanks so much for your very clear video! Would this method work with deco mesh?
Cathy Milson you could but if you are wanting to use deco mesh I would recommend A Noble Touch flower tutorial.
Thanks yes I love her tutorials!
Love the video, very well done!! Would you please tell me what color of green you used for this wreath?? I find lime, olive and moss??
Dianne Spaabeck, I used the lime green in the video. If you are wanting more of a fall look then the olive green is very nice. The moss green is more of a brownish green.
do you spray anything to protect/preserve the color of your wreaths? especially if they are hung outside
A Beautifully Budgeted Life I spray mine with Rust-Oleum Matte Clear Spray, it helps with sun exposure. Make sure it says UV Resistant on the can.
Can this be made using fabric mesh? Are there any other types of mesh that would be ok to use?
I love this wreath! It's stunning! I purchased everything to make one, however, I had to get a 12" frame. I know I need extra petals, but I'm uncertain where to place them. Do I follow this tutorial and just add in the bare spaces or do I need to do it differently altogether?

The 12" has 6 main up & down wires on the round frame. You add petals to the 6th up & down wire on the frame. Hope that makes sense.
Great tutorial...where do you find your zip ties in large quantity so they are more reasonably priced please? TY for sharing.
I have been purchasing mine in bulk on Ebay but sometimes they are hit and miss on their duribility. Just make sure to find out how much weight they can hold and that should be the difference between the more durable zip ties.
Deborah Newberry Home Depot also sells heavy duty zip ties.
Could you do this same method with deco mesh instead of poly burlap??
Thank you for the video. Can that amount of supplies make 2 wreaths? I'd love to make me and my friend one but not sure how much yellow to get?
You would need two rolls of yellow but one roll of the green and brown would make at least 4-5 sunflowers.
@@JuliesWreathBoutique thank you so much. We both love sunflowers and this would be perfect for the front door
Thanks you for the video! I love your videos. If you don't mind me asking how much do you spend on the materials and how much do you sell them for?

No, only online like craftoutlet.com
Trendytree.com and thewreathshop.com
@@JuliesWreathBoutique Thank you.
How do you keep the ploy burlap even flat while you are cutting, so you have a even square
Try putting something down on it to weigh it down if it’s difficult.
