The Minnesota intro at 14:30 was terrific. They never should have lost an NHL franchise and, of all the expansion teams you could tell how much it more it meant to them to have a team.
Sharks and Lightning also played their first game in temporary 10,000 ish seat arenas as well. The Sharks in the brilliantly named "Cow Palace" and the Lightning in the dull named "Expo Hall"
At least they didn't do it every game. I love that the golden knights have their own identity of being entertaining, but the pregame stuff can get pretty cringey and annoying

I’m glad there are more Ducks fans coming out to defend the Disney Era of the team. The mighty ducks movie is what got me into hockey and the Ducks team, made me love it. Plus the original logo and colors are so good.
I always got a kick out of the unconventional name "Mighty Ducks of Anaheim." I can only imagine the groan that hockey traditionalists let out when hearing that, let alone they came within a game of having that name inscribed on the Stanley Cup in 2003. I still enjoyed watching them with Kariya, Selanne, Rucchin and others. They were fun.

If it wasn’t for the biggest trade in NHL History (Wayne Gretzky to Los Angeles), the game of hockey may never have grown to warmer-weather markets the way that it did. Whether or not you think Gretzky is the GOAT, that move had such a huge implication to hockey’s growth.

Say what you want to say about Atlanta not joining the league, but I think they will... after Seattle and Houston.
