these youtube vids are great refreshers as I'd done this once before. An interim service event did it the last time and.... lo and behold, as I was trying to understand cramming two of these filters back up into the compartment, never mind, air direction facing inward, toward each other... imagine my surprise when there was only ONE filter to remove! Apparently the Benz tech thought it a pain in the ass as well and... why two when one will do? Ultimately, I did get both of them in but it's not as if they glided in, each with it's own channel and... are you sure about the air direction of the filters facing each other? The whole thing just didn't seem quite right. But thanks for the video... you made it look pretty easy... if not normal.

Not all CLS550's take the two filter setup seen in this video. I have a 2014 and it is one filter only and not like the ones shown here. I suspect yours is the same and maybe you put two filters in an area that only takes one.
