I don't know how you keep them? The head starts to separate from body in 8 - 12 hours if not kept in ice. If heads separate from body, it is considered stale. In India, fresh is when bought and cooked within 5 - 6 hours from catching.

RDM grows saltwater shrimp ( Litopenaeus vannamei). They are using a reduced salinity system.
